Publisher's Summary

Wyatt Galloway has a lot of things going for him in his life, but a woman is not one of them. He is focused on his career as a sheriff, setting his goals high for promotion. He has zero intention of falling in love with a woman; that is until he meets Breigh. Sweetness and beauty are not something he normally falls for, but she has him weak in the knees despite his resistance.

Having had her heart broken, Breigh‘s sworn off men and wants to concentrate on being happy. Career-driven and busy, she doesn’t bother with a social life and has given up finding the fairy tale that she’d hoped for. Until she is in the right place at the wrong time.

Wyatt and Breigh: two people wanting love but insistent on not looking for it until they meet each other.

Will either of them let it in? Is it worth fighting for when someone tries to take it away? Can a person you fall for truly be the reason or just a season?

Love, redemption and grief!

Be My Reason
This is a story of love, redemption and what it means to grieve those important people in your life after they’re gone!! Brie and Wyatt were the perfect complement for one another! They both loved, supported and nurtured one another in all things. Their story shows how important friendship to a person is in addition to loving them. Avery Reid and Matthew Maddux were both new narrators to me and did a good job with their performances. The only complaint I have is that in several chapters the editing wasn’t so great and repeated a few phrases. Overall this was a good story!

Sweet Modern Christian Romance

This was my first Brooklyn Taylor's book. This is a sweet Modern Christian Romance, heartwarming, and filled with drama. I loved to follow Wyatt and Breigh in their journey. The supporting characters are great. Avery Reid and Matthew Maddux did a good job with the narration.

Sweet

Breigh and Wyatt are possibly the most genuine, likeable characters I have come across in books. They both deserve to find happiness and it’s such a joy when they find each other. I would categorize this as a clean, Western, Christian romance. Breigh and Wyatt are both quite guarded, so it takes a while for their relationship to move beyond a tentative friendship. There is a lovely community feel to the book, with Wyatt’s aunt in particular, being a lovely secondary character. The story in rich in emotion, dealing with grief and loss and well as new love. The narrators are great and I found their Texan accents so soothing and relaxing to listen to!
