This book is what America needs!

This book help me understand the struggles of a cop in America. It also gave me a more in-depth look on how cops have to make decisions based on the situation and the safety of others, including themselves. It’s been a long time that I discovered a book that was non political or biased that makes me want to listen to it over and over! Brandon you did an incredible job and hopefully we get more books from you in the future!

Interesting and on point

Thank you for a very informative prospective. I agree wholeheartedly and the final words are most definitely true. This book kept my attention ( that’s a difficult task, ADHD here). I did miss OT’s voice but the reader was good.

Accurate if todays culture

Brandon did a great job communicating the current state of the world between Officers and the public, as well as the false views of a lot of high profile incidents. As a Black Police Officer he could have not said it best and specifically since we seem to not be able to voice ourselves without the fear of getting into trouble. It was a refreshing read.

Unbelievable!

This book in my assertion, is one of the most prolifically, undeniably and tacitly problematic books of our time! He speaks in overall generalizations! The stats are skewed and he speaks as if the reader does not critically think and or assess what’s going on in their own community! Overall the author seems to be out of touch with reality of overall public policing even though he is a police officer. I would not recommend this book to conservatives nor individuals that are called people on the left!

Fantastic book but hoped it would be longer.

I follow his YouTube channel and am interested in his work. This is a great insight into him as an individual and a police officer. Though many of the stories were his, there were also the experiences of other officers. He delved into some of the societal aspects of crime as well as the crimes themselves. The narrator did a great job capturing his essence and was really enjoyable to listen to.

5 Stars all the way.

Enlightening and honest

The personal stories of all the officers in this book are inspirational. Officer Tatum does not pretend to be saint nor victim, but gives an honest account of service to his community.
