Story
There’s one thing they don’t tell you about men without souls when they’re cast into damnation. Once we make a home for ourselves in hell, there’s nothing left to fear from life. And a man without fear is a man without limits. I hadn't had any limits in 10 long years.

Story
Whispers of the Locke brothers fill the town, facts and reality twisted to fit what these motherf--kers believe they know about us. That we’re sadistic bastards, incapable of any real emotions or fear. Maybe they’re not wrong about that. That is, until I set my sights on Kadence King, getting just as drawn to her as I am the darkness. It’s the first time I’ve felt anything in a long time. But would she really be scared knowing the depth, the lengths I go with my brothers to make any f--ker who crosses us pay?

Story
I live for the pain; it's what drives me to keep moving. I thought I was ready to finally live. Until...my brother, Alex; he throws me into the fire - right into the place I could never control myself, the one place I never want to be again. When I put my hands on people, they get hurt. Things happen that bring me back to that night. The one that will forever torment me. I'm doing fine, keeping to myself in order to ensure no one gets hurt by me. Then along comes Lyric, and all I want to do is touch her, to put my hands in places that I know will only lead to her being crushed by me.

Story
For as long as I can remember, Easton Crews has been off-limits. As much as it kills me, that’s never going to change. After his little disappearing act three years ago, then suddenly showing up out of nowhere, I shouldn't want anything to do with him. It doesn’t matter how beautiful he still is. Or how close we once were. It shouldn’t matter that my entire body lights on fire with need whenever he gets close. He chose the worst possible time to leave without so much as a goodbye.

Eight years.... That's how long it's been since my brother's been gone, and not a day goes by that it doesn't kill me, knowing that I'll never see Adric again. It's been a rough journey, one I've barely survived, but with the help of my childhood friend Kade Haze, I'm finally learning to piece what remains back together. Or so I thought.... Just when life is beginning to make sense again and a feeling of normalcy is on the horizon, my carefully constructed walls come crashing down.

Story
She belongs to my brother.... I’ve stood back for years watching Dax repeatedly screw things up with Kennedy, as if he doesn’t think anyone could ever swoop in and steal her away. Breakup after breakup, they always end up back together, even though I’ve always had a thing for her. I’m tired of waiting. He had his chance. I want mine. When Dixie’s Alibi - her Grandmother’s bar - needs a new cook for the food truck, I jump at the opportunity, despite the fact that Kennedy Ward hates me. At least, she pretends she does. We both know she secretly wants me and always has.

Micah Beck is the last thing I expect to find wandering around my brother's beach house, naked, only wearing an acoustic guitar, but he's the first thing that has ever had me craving for just one "anything goes" night. As more secrets come to light, and my sister and I work harder than ever before to reach our potential and claim our birthright, the end is finally drawing closer. The curse chases on our heels as time rushes by, and the blood-drenched destiny of the man I love looms ever closer just like the monster who stole our throne. Ten years ago, The Harlequin Boys broke my heart. I thought my life was complete with them at my side, the five of us against the world, having each other’s backs no matter what the cost. I’d fight for them until my dying breath. It’s just a shame they didn’t feel the same. Once upon a time, my imperfect world shone bright with the light of four boys I would have killed for. Publisher's Summary
Jaxon Kade
Thirteen long years without Lex, and as if she was never gone, she walks back into my life, feisty as hell and set on running from me. I refuse to let that happen. She's my Lex. I've been in love with her since the age of nine. I lost her once, and you better damn well believe I will walk through the fires of hell before losing her again.
She's set on pushing me away, afraid to show me how far down the path of destruction she has traveled, but I'm making it my mission to piece her back together again and claim her as mine. It doesn't matter if I have to destroy everything in my path that leads to her - I will.
She's not the only one who has changed with time. I'm rough, savage, and just as damaged as she is. But there's one thing I'm capable of - always have been - and that is loving her.
Alexandra Adams
I need medicine to escape this reality - the pills, cocaine, and liquor aren't even enough to numb the pain of my past. Years without Jax destroyed me - ruined me forever - and being back in his life will only ruin him the same. I never meant to find him again, and I sure as hell never meant to want him just as much as I did before we were ripped apart.
It doesn't matter that I need to stay away from him. It doesn't matter that I fight to keep my distance. Jax refuses to let me go. My biggest fear is destroying the only person I've ever been capable of loving, but he's not giving me any other choice....

Narration ruined it for me...
First let me say that it pains me that I felt let down with Jax's story. I absolutely LOVED Royal Savage and was looking forward to Jax's story. I still listen to Royal Savage occasionally because I fell in love with Royal and Avalon, as well as Jax, Blaine and Madison. It will always be a top favorite of mine.
Jax and Lex have known each other since they were kids; around 12-ish. He was her safe haven when she would sneak out of the house after her father would hit her. Jax always told her he would protect her until one night her father starts to beat up Jax and leaves him unconscious. When Jax wakes up they were gone. Jax never forgot about Lex and unfortunately life for Lex got worse after they fled. She has developed addiction issues to help her try and forget her pain, but never forgot about Jax either. When they first run into each other neither recognizes the other and when they finally realize it Jax needs to convince Lex that she is worthy of his love and he needs to help her beat her addictions.
I didn't really get into the book until more than halfway through it. It is a little more than 8 hours long and I had about 3 1/2 hours left before the book really grabbed me in. At first, I wasn't sure if it was the story line or the narration that was turning me off when I was listening to this book, but after finishing the book and really thinking about it I think it had more to do with the narration. This was my first time listening to both these narrators and I was pretty disappointed with the female narrator. Ross was ok for me, not a stand out memorable performance, but was tolerable. Kristin on the other hand just grated on my nerves. I could not stand most of the different female voices she tried and her male voice irritated the eff out of me. Especially for the majority of the first half of the book. She was trying to be all angry and brooding and pissed off tough, but it sounded like she was constipated trying to push something out or was trying to talk with her jaw sewn shut. It was so irritating which is most likely why it took me so long to get into the book. Once her and Jax finally got together she wasn't as angry so she wasn't using that voice as much, but it still made an appearance up until the end. Even her sexy or sultry voice she tried was bad, it was all breathy and like she was trying too hard. The voice she tried to use for Avalon was a major let down too, she almost made her sound a little deep and manly. I think the only voice she did that wasn't annoying was her voice for Madison. I normally prefer dual narrators for books, but this is one that I would have preferred the male narrator carry all characters and do it on his own. His 'female' voice was better than all the different variations she tried and she is female.
Overall I just found the story pretty slow going for the majority of the first half of the book. The only parts that drew my attention is when Royal or Blaine and Madison made a brief appearance here and there, then I was all ears with anticipation. Speaking of Blaine and Madison, I really hope to heck she is coming out with more on them; although I checked her website and there was nothing indicating such (bummer). The best parts of this book were the highlights of them. The way she ended the book and ended things with them was frustrating as all heck. It was a total WTF moment so I sure hope she graces us with some sort of closure with those two. Blaine is a hot mess and I'd love to get into his head and hear his turmoil of why he is who he is. If he doesn't get his head out of his arse he's going to ruin the only good thing to happen to him (if he hasn't already). Although...Blaine, Madison and Mark would be a great love triangle! One can only hope we get more on these guys.

IT’S HEARTBREAKINGLY RAW.. BUT BEAUTIFUL TOO
This is definitely not a feel-good romance.. but, by the end of Alexandra and Jaxon’s dual POV journey, I did feel good. I felt anticipatory good because these damaged childhood best friends accidentally find (and not so accidentally f...) each other after being viciously torn apart years earlier.. but have no clue who the other person is. I felt expectantly good at the thought of the upcoming reveal.. after the mutual lust, the instant connection, the intense sexual chemistry and the rough sexcapades. I felt all was right with the world good when they discovered just who the other person is.. but only one of them felt good too. I felt see.. you are strong girl good because, with Jax’s help, Alex overcame her drug addictions, low mental state and nightmare past that was drenched in mental and physical child abuse. I felt wickedly good when all the bad guys were dished the perfect punishments for their crimes. I felt swoonworthy good that Bar owner bad boy Jax wouldn’t let the love of his life run away from him, promised to do anything for her, victoriously righted wrongs, slayed the demons and villains and protected his one and only. And I felt sighworthy good when love moved mountains, overcame stumbling blocks and eventually conquered all.
Worth a credit? For me YES.. a good story, it fluidly moved from past to present, great narration, likeable main and secondary characters and it’s got Jaxon Kincade - an alpha possessive avenging angel hero. There’s also a broken and lost heroine, angst, drama, sexcapades, passion, bloody punishments, pulse-pounding action and heart-fluttering feels.. but be warned - it does come wrapped in pain-filled childhood pasts.

Jax is such a beautifully damaged soul!
I never thought a book so savage could be so beautiful yet that is exactly what you have with Beautiful Savage. The title does this book complete justice as it is so full of love, heart yet has a dark side. Jax and Lex are definitively not your cookie cutter type of couple. They've had their fair share of hurt, destruction and pain but when the two of them find their way back to each other your heart will completely melt. My word! I didn't think any book could compare to Royal Savage but I was wrong! Beautiful Savage far exceeded my expectations and so much more. Their story was so sad and heartbreaking but real and genuine. No one is perfect. To be able to go through what these two have and still persevere had me in tears. They completely broke my heart hearing their story but brought me whole and complete by the end of the book. If there is one book that you read this year this is it. I'm telling you you'll never be the same! You will feel every bit of pain and emotion but it is totally worth it when you see how beautiful the story ends. Ohhh and Blaine is beyond nuts! I can only hope and pray he gets his own story as his antics are over the top yet I can only imagine what his true story will be! Pick up this book and be ready to be in awe, captivated and consumed! You'll be so glad that you took the journey and fell for what is sure to be one of the most epic books you'll ever read! This Savage and Ink series is truly special and unique!

Good read
Enjoyed listening to this story. Loved the characters, the story line. It is awesome and amazing. It does have some triggers and may not be for everyone.

Uhgg robotic narration
The narration sounds like robotic voices. The writing is cliche and unnatural. Everything about this book feels artificial.
I couldn’t even get through the first chapter…like I said uhgg

real life tough and alota punch
Well this one is more violent than the first but it's a better story. The 1st was a bit disjointed with feelings and emotions where as this is smoother and paced well.
Lots of steam, violence and bad boy alphas with swearing incorporated.
The only thing frustrating is there are some finer points in here that are not finished or polished off like the 1st book. ( no spoilers).
It kinda disappointed me as I liked these character's better.
There is some real issues that could possibly trigger some people. And Ms Ashley leaves nothing to the imagination.
The male narrator is good but he's not growly or angry enough to be the voice of a savage boy.
Female narrator did well and suited lex. hope 5hete are more written about savage and ink.
blain, marm, Madison and Tessa.. hmmmmmm😊
