Publisher's Summary

Becoming Your Own Banker - The Infinite Banking Concept is a text about the power of dividend-paying whole life insurance. This book demonstrates that your need for finance, during your lifetime, is much greater than your need for protection.

Solve for this need through this instrument and you will end up with more life insurance than the companies will issue on you. It is not a sales tool for life insurance agents. It is education that the life insurance industry should have taught during the last 200 years. It is written for the layman, not for financial advisors, but all life agents should be thoroughly knowledgeable of its content and practice. Again, unfortunately, this is not the case. Very few of them have more than a rudimentary understanding of its qualities.

very low content to duration ratio

this book could be a 5 page white paper
the essence is to pay into life insurance then borrow against it when you need the money. this will save you money on taxes and interest. if you do decide to slog through this, look at the physical copy because the most valuable piece is the examples and they are almost impossible to follow through audio.

Life Changing Information But Only If You...

Life changing information but only if you stick with it until you really understand the whole concept. The Banking With Life Podcast on YouTube has really helped with my understanding of this concept.

Great Book...need illistrations

I got the book on Audible and it has opened my mind. But one thing I think would benefit is having the illustrations available. I'm a visual learner so they would help.

Financial Upgrade

To get a full understanding of this audible book you will more than likely need a hard copy just to lay eyes on the graphs and charts mentioned throughout the book. Otherwise this book is full of financial information that could enrich your financial standings for generations to come. Highly recommend this if you are serious about changing your life situation and circumstances; especially if you are within that 15 year window of retirement and the IRA's and 401K is not looking to promising!

so much filler, so little substance

85% of the book was simply just useless ramblings. not even good background. monotone narration did not help at all.

Awesome Financial Read!!!

I recommend this book to everyone. This is some of the absolute best financial advice ever wrote! Unfortunately it’s against the normal crowd of thinking financially and will probably only be implemented by very few because of all the nay sayers and because of pure doubt and laziness of others. Because it’s against the grain of most of the so called financial experts it’s liable to catch a lot of flack but that’s exactly the attraction for myself.

Good book

Good book and great narrator but could benefit from a pdf of the diagrams referred to help make sense of what is being said
