Annoying keeps me awake

I have listened to several chapters of this book for the last two nights. Right now, I am wide awake with the light on and annoyed by the poor quality of this book. The chapters are very short 6-8 minutes long? Too short to be relaxing. The author repeatedly tells of his fears, insecurity and self conscious ignorance of the natural words. These stories sound like the were written by a very inexperienced writer. This audio book is a waste of time, precious time when I am trying to sleep.

Should have been for Jr High age group

I found the vocabulary, especially descriptive, to be lacking and repetitive. I also found it quite odd when the author who is male, narrated for female characters.
Disappointing

Puts Me To Sleep Every Time

At first I did not think this was going to put me to sleep because the narrator has a very business crisp voice that did not strike me as relaxing - but over time despite my belief that it would not work —- I would set the timer for 60 minutes and wake up shortly before my morning alarm refreshed. The stories are nice - this edition has been short travel stories. They are calm and sweet. It is worth a try if you have trouble going to sleep.
