I'm satisfied to listen to this audiobook

What a perfect idea to have short and simple bits that adults would appreciate. Some poetry, some popular literature, some out there a little bit, some so easy. Beautiful.

Dreamlike Stories You May Never Hear the Ends Of

I have chronic insomnia so I was delighted to find these lovely stories to fall asleep to. The stories are gentle and dreamlike. Only the quick, chirpy voice of the narrator seems to break the spell the stories weave although I was usually able to fall asleep anyway.

Not-distracting.

There is no music track accompanying or following the stories, which is fine, because usually my mind gets too busy with the melodies so that it keeps me up. What it does have is a cello accompaniment which is shear genius. The solo cello "pipes up" at just the right times and in just the right ways to emphasize or set the stage for passages. Each cello passage is very different from the other, yet so integrated with his voice and the stories as to be smooth and not-distracting.

This audiobook was an eminent instructor

Author enumerated in very simplistic, detailed and comprehensive way what life is, how it influences you and others but you have control of your life. You chose your life and peace of mind.

This audiobook is eye-opening

I'm glad to have found this audio-book because I got so many new things out of it and it turned out that I was slowly conscious of it. I do recommend this audio-book for sure.

I don't want to switch.

The first story is "Sleeping Beauty", and it is a variation which I was not familiar with, but very sweet and convincing. Usually I fall asleep during this story, but I have also had the chance to hear the rest of the audio, when I have it on "repeat all", and am having a wakeful spell. Like all of these programs, it helps to vary them, and it's getting to where I've heard this one enough times, but I loveDuane's voice and stories so much that I don't want to switch.

This is my best find for insomnia in a long while

This is my best find for insomnia in a long while. The last one I bought (also guided relaxation) doesn't work at all, but this one really does the trick. Even if it didn't it is SO pleasant to listen to his voice, that I wouldn't mind staying awake! he sounds like she is sincere and caring and also like he is right there with ME. I love how, after he tells me to get comfortable, he tucks me in just right, and says, "there". Not very many people could pull this off and sound so natural.

I have the utmost respect for this author.

Clarissa listening is timeless, timely &always relevant, deeply relevant to the inner humanity we all share. he consistently shows me & his audiences that we have far more in common & less that makes us different no matter your country of origin, your preference of religion, gender, etc. I have the utmost respect for this author, teacher, story weaver & guide.

made me sleep

I couldn't tell you much about this book other than it must be good I fell asleep before I could get into any stories, as other books have just droned on and on and on and didn't make me sleep but this one 5* don't remember anything

Perfection touch included in this audible!!!

This is so soothing. It lulls me back to when I was a child my parents would tell me a story before going to bed. It takes you on such a peaceful journey while @ the same time igniting your interest.

Simple and brilliant.

We have all listen to our children to sleep with classic bedtime stories, yet we neglect ourselves completely, forgetting how soothing it is to listen to. Just told a story. I'm so glad Thought to do this in her lovely voice.

Simple and well-spoken this one.

Share our bedtime stories and classic fairy tales in a nightly ritual of learning. A bedtime story might be seen as something to rush through in order to get to the quickest conclusion.
