You can’t go wrong with. Clare Lydon Novel!

I had patiently waited and checked Audible daily all month long waiting for this release! It was totally worth it! But seriously, you really can’t go wrong with a Clare Lydon novel. She never disappoints! I can honestly say that I always know I will be getting my monies worth! She has never disappointed! Her talent for Rom-Com is amazing!

The narration was terrific! Justine Eyre does a sexy Irish accent in this one. Usually I have a hard time understanding Irish accents but she was very good!

Overall, if you are thinking about buying this audiobook.... Stop thinking and do it!

Simply sweet

I have a thing for audio books. I love to do work and just get lost in a good story. This book definitely had me hooked from the start. There were so many points throughout that I completely related to. Yes, the ending is predictable, but thats the fun in a light romance. 100% plan on listening to this one again!

something was missing

The story wasn't overall terrible but it felt very adolescent and shallow. The characters didn't really come to life for me. The voices blended together, the characters blended, the story felt cluttered but without any true depth.

Entertaining

A cute story not too long. Basically you can’t help who you fall in live with, it just happens.
I listened in one sitting.

For young women

This is a great book for young girls who are interested in weddings etc. It was ok i guess and I liked the characters, but some of it was not my cup of tea.
Narration was excellent.

Started off hott

Started off hott but died down way too quickly…. Wish it would’ve waited to die down. The whole “were in love” for the last 2 hours of the book just kinda gets old after a while. The sex scenes were much more exciting on the plane and boring/planned later on.

Loved It!

Gloria was by far my favorite character and you'll find out why once you've take a listen. While I do feel bad for the fiancé, i understand why things played out the way they did. If you love chance encounters and stories about find the person you know it meant to be yours this story is for you.

Dream come true

This was a great feel good story but more than that, it shows what could be if you truly stand up for what you believe and never let the pressure of society make your life choices. Very enjoyable listen!

Easy listen, good story

The only part of this I struggled with was the terrible "Scottish" accent, it really did distract me. However I really enjoyed the storyline, pace and humour

irritating accents

really tried to stick with it but the narration and accents are truly awful and the story just doesn't flow, the characters snap change just like that, wouldn't recommend

Hot gay romance!

Loved this story. Pacy and racy ! Great characters as ever in Clare Lydon's books. Some you love and some you love to hate 😄. Always that 'just kiss her ' moment! Love it. Holiday read for sure.

I have never heard an accent like it !!!

I loved the story, but had a real problem the way all the Scottish accents were portrayed. Poor casting/producing of the audio book, someone should have checked that the accents were true and authentic before completing this audio . Which is a real shame, as that was the one thing that let the book down.

It was ok, but not great.

I think we all knew from the title what was likely to happen and it did. It was formulaic and nothing particularly exciting happens. However, most annoying for me was the narrator’s movable accent. Was never quite sure where it was going next. Really put me off.

To cheesy!

It was way to cheesy for me, but to everybody it own of course! Also I couldn't really figure out why in the world she has to lie and pretend to be a bridesmaid. Since it was so unbelievable to me I guess I focus to much on it and it ruined the story.

Nice book

Delightful light reading. This was a nice fluffy (in the positive sense) romance with just a little angst and lovely characters. Well written as I’ve come to expect from Lydon’s books. Well recommended. Justine Eyre did nice job.
