Publisher's Summary

Be careful what you wish for . . .

Lt. Grayson Masters is focused on graduating from the Apache helicopter course, and the last thing he needs is his gorgeous new roommate Samantha Fitzgerald distracting him. While her smart mouth and free spirit are irresistibly irritating, he can't deny their off-the-charts chemistry, no matter how hard he tries.

Having just been expelled from college, Sam has no business digging for Grayson's secrets while she's hiding her own, but that doesn't stop her from trying to tear down his walls. Each barrier she busts through drops one of her own, though, and she's not prepared for the truth: another woman laid claim to Grayson's heart long ago.

Falling in love is something neither Grayson nor Sam can afford, and when that line is crossed and secrets are exposed, they'll learn that sometimes it's the answered prayers that will put you through hell.

Contains mature themes.

Eh, decent

The story drug on way to long. Could have been shortened. Probably won’t have bothered me so badly if the female narrator’s voice didn’t make me want to scream. It was way overboard trying to sound smoky and seductive- I almost gave up hearing the full story a few times.

Disappointed, a letdown from the rest of the books

The female narrator was terrible! Okay story but no where near as good as the rest of the series! So very disappointed that I wasted a credit on this.

Amazing story

The story gave me all the feels! Loved the characters, but the narrating by Ojo was not appropriate for this story. The voice was hard to handle as it did NOT fit the character and her adaptation of her male voice was not great at all. I still love the story!

I love my flyboys!

After waiting for so long, Rebecca Yarros was finally able to release this Audiobook for us! I already can't wait for the next one so that I can binge listen to the entire series, plus i need to completemy collection. I love this entire series, every mew story is better than the last.

This is the story of Sam and Grayson. I loved them and everything each one had to overcome before they were able to finally be happy.

As always, Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job bringing Grayson to life.

Narrator

The female narrator is hard to listen to. She makes all the characters so breathy. Her normal voice is ok but when she switches to the breathy one i just cringe.

Hard to listen to

I listened to the first 2 books so I ordered this one without the preview. The female narrator was very hard to listen to. When she used her normal voice it was ok but when she talked as another character to was bad. The story was good and the male role was fine. But every time the chapter started with her I cringed. Took me longer then normal to finish because I had to take breaks from the voice. You could also hear her swallowing through out the book. I can’t say this enough. Stop changing the narrators half way through a series. You get used to a voice and if it changes to a voice you don’t enjoy it ruins the entire series.

Amazing Love Story

I've been waiting months for the release of this story.....it was well worth the wait. You could feel and sense the love, hurt, and pain of the characters 💔. Will definitely listen to this book again!

Excellent

I was a bit skeptical about reading this book after I read a few of the reviews. But I'm so pleased I did read it. Even though I'm an older reader it was a truly amazing story. I loved the banter between all the couples. Sam was a little frustrating at times, but I loved Grayson. If I could give it another star I would. On to the next chapter....
