Story
For centuries, the only way to access God’s word was to hear it read aloud in public gatherings. Today, many are blessed to own personal printed copies of the Bible, but there is a surprising benefit to hearing the Scriptures read aloud as it was for so many generations. Verses you have read many times will impact you in a new way when you hear them through the Listener’s Audio Bible (NIV). Read in a single voice with subtle background music, Max McLean’s skillful, engaging, but never over-dramatized style will bring the complete Bible to life.

Story
Would you believe it took nearly 500 years to translate the ESV (English Standard Version) Bible? That's because the ESV builds on the great translations of the past - including William Tyndale's New Testament of 1526 and the King James Version (KJV) of 1611. But the ESV Bible also builds on the best Christian scholarship of the last 100 years.

Story
“Break Through the Language Barrier, Expand Your Understanding” The Amplified Bible is a Literal Equivalent translation that, by using synonyms and definitions, both explains and expands the meaning of words in the text. This unique system of translation allows the reader to more completely and clearly grasp the meaning as it was understood in the original Hebrew and Greek languages. For example, the Greek word pisteuo, which the vast majority of versions render as “believe.” That simple translation, however, hardly does justice to the many meanings contained in the Greek pisteuo: “to adhere to, cleave to; to trust to have faith in; to rely on, to depend on.”

Enjoyable
Mike Kellogg has one of the BEST voices to read the Bible. I listened to his radio show Songs in the Night for years. Its good to hear his voice again. The New Living Translation is one of the clearest and easiest translations to understand. This flows very nicely and has light background music at times...a JOY to listen to.

you can't find the chapters
the sound and quality were fine and even good. but usually the Bible is broken into all the books and then the chapter is and I can search through and find where I want to read but this one it's just number like one to a thousand or something and I I find it incredibly hard to figure out where I am. so it's kind of useless I wish I hadn't bought it

The story that lends a path to Everlasting Life in the Kingdom of Heaven
I have read the Bible and now I have listened to it as well. A account of historical events dating back to roughly 4000 B.C. narrated and told by the people who experienced these events first hand. From Moses to Noah to Abraham to King David to Mathew, Mark, Luke , John, apostle Paul and many others who authored the individual books in the Bible, truly and by far the most compelling book I have ever read. I have found new purpose in life through the will of God which I’ve come to understand through these scriptures. I pray that you too will find the grace of God that lives in the words within as I have.
Jesus Loves you - God Bless you!
