Publisher's Summary

From the USA Today best-selling authors Stasia Black and Lee Savino comes a story of love, loss, surrender, and rebirth told in three parts, now complete in this trilogy collection. Come get lost in the story of the beauty and the beast that pursues her. HEA is guaranteed.

Beauty's Beast

“I’m going to teach you, sweetness. How to give yourself fully to me.”

Her chest rises and falls rapidly. But her gaze doesn’t leave mine. “I don’t know if I can do that.”

“You don’t have to do a thing.” I can’t stop myself from reaching out and touching her hair. My hand is huge by her face. I grip one of her damp locks, swallowing it in my fist. “Just let go and be mine.”

She'll pay her family's debt one way or another....

Years ago Daphne's father stole from me, and it’s time for my revenge. I’ll steal her away to my modern castle. Lock her in my tower. Make her mine in every way.

She's Beauty, and I'm the Beast.

Beauty and the Thorns

I never thought I’d see him again. My first love, back from the grave. My captor and tormentor. He holds my past, present, and future in his scarred hands. He owns me. No matter how far I run, my path leads me back to that lonely castle. Back into the arms of the beast.

Beauty and the Rose

They say the gods will accept no small sacrifice. To appease them, you must give your all. I’ve sacrificed everything. Lived through loss and learned to love. To take the beauty with the pain. The rose with the thorns. This love story isn’t perfect, but it’s ours. We’ll hold onto it forever. And hope our forever is longer than a day.

Good story but dragged on a bit

The story was good but had a bunch hehawing around, they could have condensed this into two books and taken out some of the fluff. But over all a good series.

Overall well written story

Only thing, the voice actors kept mispronouncing the “ubelli” name. It drove me wild everytime I heard it as I already went through the other series with Cora and Marcus as characters. But the story and voice actors told it well. I loved it.

Intense

This book was very intense, so much drama but very tastefully done if you can get past the BDSM, which I had no problem with. Interesting storyline and great narrators to develop characters.

A BDSM tale as old as time!

The heroine: Daphne Laurel - she became CEO of Belladonna after her father suffered a stroke. She is working with her friend Adam on a merger of their two companies. Her passion is to work in the lab as a researcher and she is on the brink of a discovery that could help a lot of people. When she attends a ball in New Olympus in order to rub shoulders with philanthropists who fun her research.

The Hero: Logan Wolfe - he hates all the wealthy people that attend events like the ball in New Olympus. Tonight he is enacting his revenge plan against Dr. Laurel, Daphne’s father who once stole something from him and did some horrible things to him. He attends the masquerade ball, dressed as a Gargoyle which closely matches the beast he thinks he is.

The Story: Every year on the day of her mother’s death, Daphne has found a single rose in her office from a secret admirer whom she knows nothing about. The security footage in her building shows nothing each year. This year, she gets a rose the day of the Ball and another at the ball. When she is led through a labyrinth to meet her admirer.

This book is told in dual points of view via dual narration. The narration is done by Brian Meslar and Kelsey-Ann O’Dowd. I enjoyed both of their voices. Kelsey-Ann has a soft and feminine voice which sounded perfect for the naïve Daphne who spent her younger years focused on her studies and is quite awkward around men. Brian has a deep and gravely voice which he made even rougher for the Beast (Logan). However, I would rather have heard his regular voice than that fake sounding rough voice.

The story is good and the romance is super steamy. For my tastes it has a bit too many intimate scenes, it seems all the intimate scenes are just a way to drag the story out for longer since the story itself doesn’t have enough meat to keep it going for three books. The parts where there was more story seemed a bit slow moving.

It's "You-Belly" Godz Damn You!

The Vocal Actors are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Why did the author allow the voice actors to mispronounce "Ubelli" hundreds of times. It's soooo annoying. The female lead voice is whispery and slow.... The Male lead is too gravely and aggressive ... destroys the whole listening experience. Just read it... don't get the audio book.

it's a no for me

I cannot stand the story line, and the narration was awful. I loved the first set of books with Cora in them, but this story with Daphne is so unrealistic and uncomfortable. How is someone so whiny and naive suppose to be a believable CEO of a company handed to her by Daddy? No thanks, after a few chapters, I returned it.

If you don't like whining, it's not for you.

Loved the storyline but the female lead was such a pushover. I'm all about a damsel in distress & I don't think females always have to be a hardnose character but this was ridiculous. I do though love this authors & I happily listened to the whole book but I did scream occasionally at the characters!!

Billionaire’s Captive by Stasia Black and Lee Savino

This book has the hero as a DOM, so if you are not interested in what takes place between a DOM and his sub…Anyway I really enjoyed the book. The story has the hero as a boy given a hard time in his life. He became a doctor to help patients with a particular disease. During his time working in the lab, he made an enemy from one of the employees.
This person sabotaged him to get rid of him by giving him a deadly disease. During this time the boss’s daughter wondered what happened to him as the hero was always friendly with her and took her to activities that she enjoyed. The person who gave him the disease, the villain , does numerous acts to destroy the hero and heroine throughout the story, but it ends with a HEA.

Excellent

Fantastic series!
The characters came to life with the excellent narration.
It’s full of mystery, sadness and love, but also lots of sexiness, I totally enjoyed the whole series.
