Excellent Book

The narrator spoke a little fast in the beginning but did very well throughout the rest of the book. The shopping list and meditations can be bookmarked. This book explains how mindfulness and DBT can positively impact, even change, your life and directs the listener on how to use these to overcome binge eating.

Helpful but repetitive

I found quite a bit of helpful information. I especially liked the guided meditation. Some of the content seemed unnecessary, like the almost entire chapter dedicated to describing, in detail, the various forms of exercise one can do. Some of the content seemed overly repetitive. Also, the website that gets touted and recommended repeatedly throughout the book doesn't seem to exist anymore. I tried, on numerous occasions to visit the site, being very careful to type everything correctly, and kept getting an error message, that the site couldn't be reached.

Fantastic book!

I am a clinical therapist and really enjoyed this book! Some of the key features is that the author gave many examples and strategies regarding emotional eating.

Not instructional

This book is about binge eating but is not instructional enough on how to help.
