Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Misty Walker comes a dark age-gap MC-club romance.

Vegas is where good people go to sin. Reno is where the bad ones go. Amid the drugs, weapons, and trafficking, a murder-for-hire market has emerged. And my motorcycle club is right in the thick of it.

If you can pay, we have a million different ways to solve your problem. You want someone to vanish without a trace? The Great Basin Desert is almost 200,000 square miles of “nobody will ever find you”. You want to make a statement? We’ve been known to hang bodies from the Reno Arch.

If you’re paying, we’re killing. No witnesses, no evidence, and no questions asked. That is until we’re hired to locate and kill a group threatening biological warfare by exposing our city to a deadly virus they stole. It’s the big payday we need. But in order to take the job, we have to also agree to protect the spoiled brat who saw everything.

Small. Frail. Innocent. Frightened. I made her my little birdie, but she always wants to fly away. Too bad for her I’ve clipped her wings and locked her in my cage. They say free birds sing and caged birds pray. Her cries sound the same to me.

Birdie's Biker is a dark romance in the second run of the Royal Bastards MC. It's sexy as sin, thrilling, gritty, and dirty. If you love tortured heroes and a heroine, who learns her strength in the most depraved way, then you'll love Birdie's Biker.

Dark, Intense, Gritty & Hot!

I really enjoyed this intense and gritty story. Birdie/Bridgette and Loki's tale is not really for the faint of heart though, because this is a dark romance and as such, it does contain content that might not appeal to every reader or be full-on triggers for others. So please, keep that in mind before deciding to dive into this book. I grew to like these two as a couple but admit I had a rocky start with them because originally I wasn't liking them too much. However, as you learn more about these characters, the story unfolds, their characters evolve and their relationship deepens I found it much easier to connect with them. This book has a well written storyline that works hard at grabbing and keeping your attention focused and it totally succeeds at its job. Packed with violence, action, danger, drama, raw emotion, steam, kink and touches of sweetness and humor, this well crafted book was really quite enticing. A stellar cast of secondary characters provides so many opportunities for more compelling reads to look forward to in this series. This book features duel narration, which I loved and appreciated. I felt that the narrator's voices fit the characters well and they each gave outstanding performances that really brought this book to life for me.

Birdie/Bridgett and Loki

This was a really good book. Loki and his MC were hired by Birdie's father to get a dangerous substance (a bad virus where one drop could kill a person) back that was stolen from him. At first I did not care for Loki because of how he treated Birdie and especially how he was with all the women. It was horrible when he brought a woman back to his room while Birdie was in a cage in his room. I am glad Birdie said something to him that made the woman leave. By the end of the book, Loki was no longer a man whore. He changed and started to fall for her despite their age difference. Kelsey Navarro and Troy Duran were great, especially Troy, who is my favorite narrator.

Birdie's Biker audio does not disappoint

MC stories are a special love of mine. I was thrilled to listen to Loki and Birdie's story. The narrators voice for Loki was absolutely amazing. He did the story justice. His voice kept me on the edge of my seat. A wonderful addition to an already great story.

Hummmm

The male narrator kept this story going. He was fantastic. The female narrator sounded like a Valley Girl. Her voice didn’t sound like an eighteen year old to me. The storyline isn’t usually one I would read but the reviews sucked me in. LOL- MC books just aren’t my thing. Heads up for sexual assault triggers.

I enjoyed the book overall, however, after the climax in the story, the resolution was dull.

Some birds are meant to be caged

Well, this was the first time I've read a Mister Walker book and wooo weeee does she really knock it out of the ball park.

Bridgette, aka Birdie, is a spoiled daddy's girl, she gets everything she wants and already knows her life expectation is to be a pampered princess. Some one is out to get her daddy and to keep her save he sends her to the RBMC. A bunch of rough looking men and scantily clad women, no where near what she is used to.

Loki, he lives with the weight of his mother's dead on his shoulders. After his father couldn't maintain his MC status, Loki ended up in his place. Now he stuck baby sitting a princess but all he can think about is doing things to her that will shut her up and keep her in her place.

Misty did a really great job with the BDSM portion of this. The tragedy that Birdie experienced and the PTSD that came afterwards was well written. Birdie grew so much while she was with Loki and Loki is Master!

I love Kelsey Navarro, and Troy Duran played the perfect Loki.

Audio ARC provided by Hatter PR and I decided to leave an honest review.

Somehow even better in audio

6 Stars I LOVED this when I read it in paperback, I loved it even more in audio. I kinda knew after reading Truly's Biker first that this crew would become near and dear to my heart and I was right! The writing is so crisp and it doesn't really shy away from any of the grizzly things you might associate a MC with. This is definitely both dark and delicious. I haven't felt this kinda of hype for a Mc series since Hades Hangmen so the RBMC are definitely in good company. There's something special at the end of Misty Walkers pen and I'm here for all of it.
