Publisher's Summary

Return to the zombie apocalypse wasteland that is the Rot & Ruin in this short story collection from Jonathan Maberry.

Benny Imura's zombie-infested adventures are well-chronicled in the gripping novels Rot & Ruin, Dust & Decay, Flesh & Bone, and Fire & Ash. But what else was happening while he was on his quest? Who were the others navigating the ravaged landscape full of zombies?

Bits & Pieces fills in the gaps about what we know about First Night, surviving the plague, and traveling the land of Rot & Ruin. Eleven all-new short stories from Nix's journal and 11 previously published stories, including "Dead & Gone" and "Tooth & Nail", are now all together.

Lots of Joe Ledger

If you are a Joe Ledger fan, this is a good read. He is the subject in several short stories.

I could never ever express

how much I love this whole series. I'm in my fifties and not embarrassed in the least to say that.
if you can't see what is being taught just below the surface you have to be blind
this in my opinion should be a required reading series in grade school.
compassion, trust, respect, realization, acceptance, love, loss it's all there in brazen and subtle ways.

First half is almost pointless.

Roughly the first half of this book could not exist, and I would not miss it. But the second half makes it worth every penny. And I truly mean that. I'm the kind of person that hates short stories. Especially in a Series like this. And that mentality holds true for the first half. But I'm so glad I stuck it out for the second half. If you decide to only read one piece of this, chapter 18 is all I will say. If you want to give it a little more, At least read Rags story. You won't Regret it.

Rounding out some corners!!!!!

The first half of the book clears up some of the back stories for the previous books, but the second half is money!!! I found myself feeling a little melancholy near the end. Not going to spoil things. The grandchildren Baskerville, Grim, and Ghoulie. I am sure there are two parents who are very proud of their family. I can only hope they went out the right way.

As always and with great sincerity, I want to thank Ray Porter and Jonathan Maberry. One hell of a tag team.

Jonathan and Ray and Joe, Oh My!

I never knew anything about Benny Immura series and I hadn't listened to the Joe Ledger series for such a long time and I've missed most of the books. But this was so fun and so good and I enjoyed every minute of it and even though there were all short stories, it felt totally cohesive.
I didn't even need to know who all the characters were because I knew the zombie world from the Ledger series.
Anyway, Ray Porter is absolutely amazing with his perfect narration including excellent female voices. He's another one of those narrators with whom one could have phone sex with. Just sayin'....

Hang in there

The first hour of the story was rather depressing I almost gave up but I hung in there and it got better progressively there were more good things happening and less of the bed. We brought in some of our old favorite characters from many different series. I truly ended up loving this. But then again I would listen to Ray Porter read the telephone book. Enjoy the book well worth the time.

I need more of this universe! also more Jonathan Mabury!

i’ve been a fan of Jonathan Mabury for many years. It’s a real shame that more of his books aren’t available on Audible UK.

I’ve read this book up to the events of rot and ruin and am now waiting impatiently for The rest of this series, Being books 1, 2, 3 and 4, to be available on audible UK.

both narrators do a very good job of capturing each character.
