This is more like it.

To be honest, the past 3-4 books in this series were not great. I was contemplating ending this series BUT…

This one brought back some of the fun that was missing. Rapid dialogue, Stone and Dino banter and Joan in all her snarkyness. And although I enjoy Stone and all his conquests, the sex was not the driving force in this story at least, in this one. I’m not a prude but Stone and sex, gets carried away. Thank you for toning down the sex.
I enjoyed this one a great deal and smiled a great deal. This is why Stone in Stuart Woods’ hands, is so entertaining.

always entertaining

Stone & Dino are the best and now Joan may be joining the crew? I always enjoy their slapstick humor.

Excellent story

I'm so sad this is the next to the last book by Woods about Stone Barrington and his crew. This story had me riveted from the very beginning.

Not a bad dog

Best story line in a while. Not focused on one of Barrington’s love interest in distress.

could have been better

I guess all of the books can't be great. This one was a little disappointing and it ended very abruptly. I'm not discouraged I know the next book will probably be great.

Love Stone's Adventures

I keep purchasing this series because I love listening to Stone and Dino. I am tiring of inconsistencies. This sounded like I imagine a screen play would. Maybe it would be better to take a little longer between books and have more substance? I was happy that Stone didn't start interacting with multiple new women until after chapter 20.

Better than ptevious

A better story with more plot and intrigue than previous Barrington books. The story was still quite flimsy however. The writer was asking the reader to believe that a multi-million dollar mansion with state-of-the-art security would not have a simple camera monitoring the garage doors. This oversight was also involving Stone's house which is supposed to be CIA secured and monitored. Ridiculous, but I finished it. Dreadful ending as usual. The story is concluded, but no actual ending is resolved.

Redeemed

Finally! A book where “fuck” was not the by word for sex. A wonderful, witty book. Lately it has been difficult to get through the books, as they bordered on vulgar.

BTW - where is Bob the Dog?
