Lovely

The storyline was great. loved the development of the characters. Narration is in 3rd person so I would of liked it 1st person but it was still good.

Plus size YouTube star finds love!

I really loved the behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a YouTube channel and a look at what the downside to being an "influencer" could be. I admired Cassey so much in her willingness to put herself out there when so many people can be hateful and insensitive behind the keyboard.

It was also so nice to see a curvy girl heroine. That instantly made her feel more relatable and generally underrepresented in romance fiction.

The story was great, the mystery was well done, and the social issues were spot on as always.

A Wonderful Addition To The Series

A truly amazing story. I really like the fact that Ty and Cassie have some history from years past and have not seen one another for years. Cassie is best friends with Ty's cousin and had a huge crush on Ty when they were in high school. Now Cassie is in need of help because of a stalker. Her friend Kari is worried about her and asks her cousin Ty to help Cassie. When he knocks on Cassie's door, she ends up closing the door in his face. She can't believe he is willing to help her. Turns out Ty may not remember he from high school. He had his own problems growing up. He certainly notices her now. And he likes what he sees. Ty is very protective of Cassie and wants to not only help her but help her see that he likes her a lot. This is a great story and I like it when the other members of BDI want to help him. This story has you wondering who the crazy, cause he is crazy stalker is. You will be guessing from the beginning until the end when it is revealed who it is. Cassie is a great character and the fact that she is able to embrace who she is and is able to be a positive role model for the followers of her social media programs is so wonderful. I also like that Ty doesn't see her as anything but a beautiful woman inside as well as outside. I absolutely loved the HEA. I can not wait to find out what happens with Dax in his story.

Tim Page and Kelsey Navarro are new narrators for me and I enjoyed hearing them.

Adored this story so much!!!

Black Mail is the newest book in the Black's Bandits series from Lynn Raye Harris. This series of books is like catnip to me, and I was really excited to get Ty's book.

Cassie Dixon is Tyler's favorite cousin's best friend. When Kari gets him to check in on Cassie because she has been receiving threats and unwanted attention, and many of the threats have become violent, Ty does so to get his cousin off his back. Even though Ty and Cassie grew up in the same town, he didn't really remember much about Cassie and was blown away by her beauty upon seeing her again all these years later. Cassie had the biggest crush on Ty when they were in high school, but was so introverted she never would have acted on her attraction.

Cassie is an introvert and a plus-sized woman who really has only ever been talked down to not only from her mother, but by any of the men she has been involved with in the past. Ty is the perfect man to not only protect Cassie, but to help her realize the beautiful and sexy woman he sees when he looks at her. I loved that Ty was always encouraging Cassie, and helping to bolster her self esteem. The stalker messing with Cassie with threats and unwanted emails and gifts were so ugly and vicious, it broke my heart to see Cassie continue to be down on herself and even believe Ty could never really be interested in her because of her size. Words hurt, and the stalker after Cassie only wanted to belittle her and make her feel horrible about herself, and if Ty wasn't there, I honestly think Cassie would have eventually moved back into her introverted shell.

I loved Ty and Cassie as a couple. They had amazing chemistry together, and they had smoking hot smexy times once Cassie finally got out of her head. I also loved how much Ty and Cassie shared all they went through with their parents growing up. They both talked to each other about things they had never shared with anyone else, and it made me love them more and more as a couple. Yes their chemistry was amazing, but some of their talks and fixing meals together were some of the best parts of the book for me.

Ms. Harris kept me guessing about Cassie's stalker with Black Mail. I usually can figure out the bad guy before it is revealed, but was pretty shocked with this one. I love how all of the members of BDI are always there to help out their own, and Cassie became one of their own once they met her with Ty.

Black Mail was a wonderful addition to the Black's Bandits series of books. I didn't love how down Cassie was on herself when the book started, but I did love seeing her come out of her protective shell and show courage and strength as the story progressed. Tyler and Cassie's story only has me wanting even more time with the characters in the Black's Bandits series, and I can't wait to read the next installment.

Lynn Raye Harris once again picked amazing narrators to bring her story to life. I really thought both Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro did an excellent job with this book. As with all books in the Black's Bandits series, there are many characters voiced in this book. I am pulled out of a story when the voices don't change between characters, and that never happened with Black Mail. I had very recently read this book first, and still was on the edge of my seat, even though I knew exactly what was coming next. I love it when narrators pull me into a story so well, I feel like I'm hearing a story for the very first time. Mr. Paige and Ms. Navarro did that in spades and gave the listeners a fantastic ride!

Ty and Cassie are adorable!

I love this whole series, but this may be my favorite Bandit book yet. As a curvy girl I can relate to the body issues that Cassie deals with. I love how Ty loves her and helps her to be as positive with herself as she is her subscribers.

I read the book and then listened to the audio book. I really enjoyed both narrators and how they brought Ty and Cassie to life.

I loved the cameos of all the other Bandits including their ladies!

Loved the mystery/suspense

I will admit I truly enjoyed the mystery/suspense of this story, but the romance was just ok for me. I loved the idea that Cassie is a curvy girl and very self conscious and Ty does not have any issues with it. I was surprised with who was the culprit in this story. I thought maybe it could be, but basically didn't give it any weight, considering ... So when it turned out to be this person, my mouth dropped open.

I'm hopeful to see more of Ty and Cassie. I'm interested to see how her self defense lessons go with Natasha. I think all of the girls should have classes on self defense. And who better to instruct than Natasha.

Although I can't say they're new to me, however I do not listen to these narrators often. So it was a nice change of pace for me. Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro brought new life to these characters.

Love Ty and Cassie!

I'm 100% team Ty and Cassie! What a fab couple and so perfect for eachother. Cassie's is a YouTuber and her videos make her a target of unwanted and nasty attention. Ty's cousin is Cassie's bestie and she asks him to check on her, and they have an instant connection and chemistry. I love how Ty and Cassie each work through their own insecurities, and following Cassie as she comes into her own and blossoms is really uplifting and great to listen to. As with all the Black's Bandits stories, Black Mail has no shortage of action and intrigue, and catching up with the rest of the team is always a joy. This is another great addition to a fab series!
