My Review:
Overall: 4.5
Performance: 4.75
Story: 4.5

The end of this series. I've looked forward to this book so much, but at the same time I've dreaded it because I wasn't sure if I was ready for this series to end. But the author really did an amazing job with how she ended the series.

This series has always had this unspoken character in it...Chicago. And Chicago plays a HUGE roll in this book. And I kind of love that Chloe Neill did that because she took this amazing series and just made it epic for the end. I loved that.

So this book...it features the wedding. All the good things are happening for Merit and Ethan...and it is good. I love how they've grown and evolved throughout this series. For their relationship, they are in such a GOOD place. They love and respect one another and that comes through in everything. It's everywhere else in their lives that keep having issues. But they stay in a happy place, so I'm okay with whatever happens as long as that continues. Also, there was a HFN resolution for Jonah in this one that I kind of loved, too.

And I really don't want to say anything else about it, because this is the finale. I don't want to spoil anything about it. You need to know it's going to be good. It's a great finale. All the various story lines are taken care of. All the characters show back up. Everything is tied up with neat little bows and where things go in the very end are better than brilliant. I'm happy.

And note...if you listened to this in audio like me, message me. There is a single page in the back of the physical book that isn't in the audio about things to come and you WANT to know what it says! I promise...

I'm so excited.

Great story

Blade Bound was a great story with a good mix of magic, vampires, drama, undead life, fighting, and intimate scenes. From a marriage to a battle with a mythical creature the audience is guaranteed an interesting and captivating story. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

The end of a series with an cliffhanger? WTF?

Overall, I enjoyed this series. It definitely had a predictable pattern, in every book but, since the good guys prevailed, I can live with that. It definitely could have been a more sensual series, in my opinion, but I enjoyed it all the same. My biggest complaint is that the series ended with an unrevealed prophecy of the future. Hell, that was exceptionally cruel; and aggravating. Oh well, I guess all we can do is watch and wait for a spin-off series. I’m off to find a new series to sink my teeth in to.

Surprised

Sorry to see an end to the series it was a very entertaining and I will miss the characters. That being said for this to be the final installment for a well loved series this story was very lackluster. Although the story ended on a happy note the story itself seem to run out of steam and just ended. I am hope this story is the beginning of a spinoff with the child being the main main characters. One can alway hope.

Whoa! What a book!

This book was full of craziness surrounded by vampires, magic and complete chaos. As always Merit and Ethan are wrapped up in the middle of it all. Just another day in the life of a Chicagoland vampire.

This story however isn’t as easy on the nerves. The bad juju is in full swing and let’s just say, I need a drink now. Lol.

Close calls. Amazing rescues. Epic battles and all to save the place they call home. The evil sorceress, who they all thought had given up on Chicago has returned and the battle lines, clearly drawn, are crossed. It’s a race against time and magic ro not only take her down but stop the magic she has set loose in Chicago. Destruction in their wake they must going forces with the human cops, military, Mallory, Catcher and the order ro try and stop the madness.

So to put it into simple words: it’s a fantastic read! I just hate it’s the last one in the series. I am thankful though that there is a spin off! Time for more vampires!

The END! <3

I am sad that the series is over!
This was a great way to end it though, with hope of a spin off and now that I know there is one I am all over that.
The wedding was everything I am so glad it was included.

Ethan and Merit and Mallory and Catcher save Chicago from a giant lizard that was made from magic. I have to say Gabriel is never wrong never bet against prophecy.

My favorite part was the bridge and the trust Mallory has in Merit well it was heartwarming you can see their friendship wasn’t damage from the past.

I do wish we got like a whole chapter of Ethan as a father that would have been so interesting.
