She gave me her blood, and my life changed forever. Anastasia. My sire. The only influential figure in my already-fragile life. She did this to me. She caused all the pain and suffering. There was a time I believed I owed her everything. After all, she gave me immortality and the never-ending thirst for the energy contained in the blood of my victims. But now vampires hunt me and the humans want to use me as their personal weapon. They believe I'm some kind of apotropaic figurine that can damn all Deamhan and force us back into hell where we belong. Me? I just want to live. I just want to be Maris. That way, the only one I can damn is myself.

Story
Taziem is a magnificent dragon: sexy, powerful, intelligent. Like other dragons, she hoards diamonds, but unlike other dragons, she covets knowledge as well. So when the local villagers offer her one of their younglings as a sacrifice, she decides to take it home with her and study it so she might learn all there is to know about humans. If the youngling satisfies her curiosity, she’ll set it free eventually. If it disappoints, she’ll feed it to her soon-to-be-born dragonets. As it so happens, the youngling is fearless, clever, and dragon-smart. She quickly exceeds Taziem’s wildest expectations and winds up bonding with the newborns. Lathwi, The Soft One, they call her, and accept her as a tanglemate. As they live and grow and play together, Lathwi forgets that she was ever human. After a time though, Taqziem must banish Lathwi from her territory for her own safety. Forced into the human world again, Lathwi begins a journey of re-discovery, stumbling onto a plot to revive dragonkind’s ancient nemesis. She withstands sorcerous attacks and an onslaught of demons, but without her mother’s help, she knows she cannot defeat the evil that threatens to consume the world. The question is, can she return to Taziem’s mountain in time to prevent an apocalypse?

Absolutely captivating story!
If you could sum up Blessedly Bound in three words, what would they be?
Where's the movies?
What other book might you compare Blessedly Bound to and why?
It's the adult version of Twilight you didn't know you wanted but needed because this is SO MUCH BETTER.
Have you listened to any of Molly King’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not so there's nothing to compare it to but it wasn't bad.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My heart! Omg it was edge-of-the-seat, what's-going-to-happen-next, heart-pounding excitement. The character development really made you feel like your heart was going to burst from love the next minute break from sadness.
Any additional comments?
I absolutely cannot wait to get into book two! This novel really left off in a great place though that as a stand alone is a fantastic piece. I could easily see this as a movie on the big screen. Someone get working on that! You really feel the energy build as the novel goes and she gains her foothold in the world of Magick. It is a captivating story and I want more!

A Multifaceted, Entertaining Read
If you could sum up Blessedly Bound in three words, what would they be?
Well Written, Multifaceted and Entertaining
What other book might you compare Blessedly Bound to and why?
Hmm....that's tough. This book was very different. It oddly reminded me of the cozy mystery books
What does Molly King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She made the characters feel very real
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It was comfortable. I liked being in the book. At the same time there was tension because she's looking for the murderer of her grandmother
Any additional comments?
Here's my full Amazon review:
This book is very well written and very well developed. It's hard to describe it because it had so much going for it and had so many different aspects to why I liked it. Most of the book had this comfortable feeling, like you wanted to live in this word, but it also had an underlying tension as the main character was not only seeking out her grandmother's killer, but is also being stalked by another witch. The characters felt real. Many of the characters live in the gray area between good and bad. How is that possible? The same way it is in real life, they had the best intentions then made a few bad decisions.
This book is the first in a series and I'm looking forward to the next installment.
