Seriously Sensational Sequel!

Picking up where Hidden Mate (book one) ended, the story of Sadie and Donovan continues, deepens and intensifies! Secrets are revealed, familiar characters return and new characters are introduced, wonderful, perfectly flawed, wholly believable characters! Some I instantly liked, some I instantly loathed, and a few that at first I wanted to dislike, but found myself coming to understand, then growing to like, and finally coming to love through wonderful writing and magical narration that is book two of this series! Like book one, there is no shortage of heart pounding, edge of your seat moments as Sadie, Donovan and the others grow, change and bond and I can’t wait to see how this all resolves in book three! I am throughly enjoying this series! It is so well written, so beautifully narrated, so perfect in every way that matters, and so deserving of more than the five stars I am allowed to award!

Blood Secrets

Wow loving this series! This is the second book in The Wolf Born Trilogy. Sadie and her small group of friends are trying to escape the grasp of Tyler(her father). They have found refuge with a vampire family that still has their humanity intact. Sadie is uncovering secrets of her heritage that will shock you. Can't wait to see what happens next! This book ends on a OH SH*T cliffhanger. Sarah Puckett did an amazing job narrating this book.

What a whirlwind!

Wow! I loved the first book, but this one blew me away. Family secrets never stay buried long and this book is chock full of them. Sadie and Donovan are trying to figure out how to get away from Tyler's lies and betrayals while also learning that Sadie's entire life has been a lie. And that brutal cliffhanger... Thank goodness I already have book 3 ready to go!

Her father almost took away the one thing she cares about the most, so she takes her friends and her mate. They run to go into finding to figure out what they should do next, but she ends up meeting someone she never knew was still alive. If want to figure out who that person is I recommend you to listen to the 2nd book in the series.

Audiobook obsession reviewer

So this one is getting even better, the pacing was so well done and entertaining and it felt like it was almost impossible to put down. I loved seeing the way the characters are strengthening their relationships but also themselves. There are so many exciting side characters as well in this book. This has made it so much more enjoyable I’m both excited and dreading the next book, i need the answers but I dont want to loose these characters

Sarah has again outdone herself with this book her voices are spot on and they show me so much with the emotion and building the suspense.

An Action-Packed Sequel! Outstanding Narration🎧

Jen L. Grey continues to wow me with her second book of the “Wolf Born” series, this book picks up right where the first one ended and I highly recommend starting the series with that book, “Hidden Mate” it is a not to be missed story and it lays down the foundation for the rest of the series. We saw what Sadie’s father, Alpha of the Tyler pack, did to Donovan and Axel at the end of the first book and what Sadie did to stand up to her father. Frantic to save Donovan and Axel and to get them to safety she goes with her two vamp friends, Lillith and Katherine to their vampire nest. Their families are fairly welcoming and are helpful with Donovan and Axel’s transition. Unfortunately more problems arise in the form of the Fae, they want Sadie dead and have made several attempts to make that happen. They also run into more wolf shifters and someone she was shocked to find out was not dead. Having to fight the FAE and Tyler’s Wolves is taking a toll on them and even help from others they are still at a disadvantage in both strength and numbers. A lot goes on in this book, past secrets are revealed and truths uncovered, it is an action packed fast pace story with plenty of drama, twists and turns, heartfelt and emotional moments, some thrilling suspense and a bonding romance. Jen L. Grey, thank you for another amazing story and that mind blowing ending, I am looking forward to what happens next.

She is a versatile voice artist who is outstanding at covering both the male and female roles, giving each their own distinct voice sounding believable in every role she plays. She sets the perfect tone for the story, captures the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. Sarah Puckett is a natural talent and her entertaining storytelling enhances an already great story to another level of greatness. Thank you for another exceptional listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Blood secrets

Could of been a good book but the heroine Sadie is a sad excuse of a suppose Alpha. This chick has far powers but is to weak to fight off this Brock guy please. Very weak story line and even weaker characters. Very sad could of made a better read if heroine and her crew were smarter.

On the run and kicking it up a notch

Things have really gone off the rails with regards to Sadie’s life in college. Now she is on the run, with the help of her friends, nothing is ever going to be the same, and there’s no going back.

This books takes the foundation built in book one and kicks it up a notch. We have transformations, secrets and revelations, alliances and betrayals, and even the steam gets a nice boost. The found family aspect is also elevated with their need to rely on each other even more. The dynamics between all the different characters both in and outside the main circle is entertaining and feels real, organic. The relationship between Sadie and Donovan doesn’t just suddenly “work”, but they work together to figure things out.

Overall, a really good continuation of the story, with an expected cliffy, leading us into the third book of the trilogy. As an upper YA PNR, this book and series seems to be holding its own well.

As usual, Sarah Puckett nails it, but when does she not. She’s a great voice for Sadie, and definitely elevated my enjoyment of the book.

Loved it!

I loved the sequel so much! It picks up where the last one left off and had the amazing characters and dynamics I loved from the first book. Sadie has a tough choice to make to protect those she cares about. Sadie has seen what her father wants to do and she needs to keep her mate and friends safe. I really adored how things played out in the story and can’t wait to see where things will go from here. And the narrator did a fantastic job with the story as always.
