Before we actually try to understand the concept of analyzing people, we must prepare ourselves to develop this skill. That is the first step to becoming a good people analyzer. The preparation begins with understanding some of the most basic aspects of human nature. It is common among psychologists to compare human beings to onions. We, for some reason, like to cover ourselves with at least four layers so that our true feelings and thoughts are not seen by all and sundry.

Publisher's Summary
You could be projecting a wrong image of yourself by not using your body language properly.
Nonverbal communication is a huge part of any communication process. The good news is, nonverbal language is like any other language, can be taught.
This book will transform the way you act and react with your body and improve your confidence.
You’ve probably heard many times someone being described as charismatic. While some people truly are naturally charismatic, the idea that you have to be born with it couldn’t be further from the truth. Charisma is a personality trait, and it can be mastered through different techniques that involve using body language.
When you read this book you’ll be able to:
- Use body language to improve your confidence and upgrade your personality
- Control your emotional and physical reactions
- Read another’s nonverbal signs and interpret them
- Recognize when someone’s lying to you
- Master different ways to attract and command attention with your body language
Don’t make a mistake believing that words you say are the only thing that matters to people around you. Humans are by nature visual beings, meaning we tend to judge on appearance, whether consciously or unconsciously. Speaking is a big part of a communication process, but not the only one.
Reach your full potential, project the right image of yourself, gain confidence and advance in your career by mastering your body language.

Excellent material
An excellent material and is so easy to understand. I highly recommend the author’s way of identifying what people do to get away with in life. All the years of experience he has in the field and in the office setting makes him a professional in his own right. Analyzing body language can be a hard thing to learn and employ. I can attest to that. I wasn’t particularly good at guessing how others feel or reading their body language response. While I am still socially scared to talk with a lot of people I don't know, this book did provide insight into what certain gestures mean and what I could be portraying to people without even knowing it.

Covers necessary ground
It was only now that I realized that effective communication is achieved more with body language than the spoken word. I took a college course on reading body language, and this excellent book covered the same ground. It's not what you say, but it's how you say it that counts most. Author conveys a broad knowledge of the subject. Additionally, a gifted writer who writes clearly and in depth. Book is well organized into meaningful snippets easily absorbed.

Has dramatic impact.
The impact this book has had a dramatic impact on the way I view human interactions. Before reading this book, I scarcely understood body language and non-verbal communication; now, thanks to this brilliant work by Gerard Shaw, I understand why some people seem more confident than others when they speak, how adopting different techniques can allow one to become more persuasive when speaking, what to look for when attempting to detect deception, etc. Simply improve your non-verbal intelligence, this book will surely help you do all of that and more.

Effective communication and listening skills
This is an interesting book on how to effectively communicate and actively listen to others, not just what they have to say through spoken words but what they intend to mean which can be seen through their body language. It was an easy concept to grasp. I didn’t realize how important nonverbal language is until this book, so it’s quite enlightening in that sense. It is also interesting that this audiobook also shows you how to be objective and less judgemental in reading people’s body language and how to be more understanding of other people overall. The author has plenty of experience in coaching and it shows in his Audible. A must listen to help with effective communication.

Very enlightening listen. I'm still quoting from this audible, even though it's been a while that I listened to it. You can tell the author knows his stuff. It covered all aspects of body language and each of their meaning. It helped develop body language and dynamics enabling one to go out and apply the knowledge. I really liked the way the author broke down the elements and illuminated the supportive data of each topic area! Very good for someone who doesn't pick up on social cues very well. Author goes into detail about context and not just how to use non verbal language but the situation you are in, what is said and much more. I've read a couple of books on this subject and I really should have just read this one! The thing about body language is, we naturally know more than we realize and some of what he says, and all books say, is obvious. This book just gives you a more thorough knowledge.

A good self-help audiobook
I’m an avid fan of self-help books and I'm always looking for ways to learn and improve myself. So I'm glad I found this book. However, I’ve been out of touch lately and couldn’t bring myself to reading. I’m just equally glad that this book has an audiobook version. It’s not much effort to digest the rich content over a weekend. Especially these days, I think we have more time in our hands to either waste or use wisely. A few short hours spent listening to a good book that is not only good for your mind, but also good for you to see yourself differently. This audiobook helped me to reassess myself and fine tune my authenticity and self-image. Glad that Bold Body Language is jam packed with fascinating, amazing, and interesting facts that will help you enhance your social skills, confidence, and helps you in areas you need to improve to achieve life goals.

Feeling more confident now.
This is an amazing audible about body language and gesture communication skills. These include topics such as body language, eye contact, and none verbal language in general. The tips I found in this audiobook are also beneficial to my daily interactions with others. I really liked this book and would recommend it to anyone who needs such type of information. I’m doing presentations and am constantly meeting new people to whom I have to present products and ideas creatively. I can say this audible has been very helpful in the way I learned to present myself and my message. I feel more confident and need not fake it anymore.
