Publisher's Summary
The boundless ambitions
of some CEOs and politicians
are dangerous, shameless, and sly.
Only when heroes step forward to fight,
will we see the end of their lies.
Imagine House of Cards meets James Bond in a clever suspense thriller.
Sometimes the bad guys play out of bounds.
Our world is plagued by the devious schemes of disguised cheaters and thieves. The worst of these frauds are perpetrated by prominent figures - powerful people with sincere smiles, boundless ambitions, and flexible souls. They play on hope, fear, and pride while stealing billions right before our eyes.
This is the story of one such group. Although thoroughly unpredictable, it’s inspired by true events.
Created using the same compelling mix of savvy plotting, rapid pacing, and clever conundrums that turned the first four Kyle Achilles books into international best sellers, Boundless Ambition gives you heroes to love, villains to hate, and puzzles to solve. It’s a story destined to delight both new comers and avid Tim Tigner fans.

Tim Tigner is tops in this genre!!!!
This is the fifth book in the Kyle Achilles series. This book can be listened to as a stand alone however I would suggest listening to these books in order.
This book begins with a meeting between three CEOs and the White House chief of staff discussing how they planned to manipulate the presidential election. They planned on a current President and VP along with future plans for the next sixteen years. The point is to secure their financial future with a treacherous plan implicating one of our allies.
Meanwhile, Kyle is sent on a secret mission by the Chief of staff in the White House. He’s lead to believe this is a sanctioned mission from the president. It was not. When the four find out that Kyle had recorded the meeting they decide to have him killed along with his wife. After thwarting the plans of the first two assassins Kyle decides it’s time to go after them. Just as soon as he can figure out who they are.
Scott Brick narrates. Need I say more?
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Tigner joins the elite of espionage authors!
I've enjoyed all of Tim Tigner's books in his Kyle Achilles espionage thriller series, but BOUNDLESS AMBITION which is Book 5 in the series is really special. The novel is as good as the best of Vince Flynn, Ben Coes, Mark Greaney, Brad Thor, Daniel Silva, or Jack Carr. Boundless Ambition is a truly remarkable novel. Katya, Achilles' Russian math professor wife, is certainly not new to the series but her role in Boundless Ambition is as a hands on espionage agent and partner of Kyle Achilles. This novel is a must listen. It is absolutely the best espionage thriller so far in 2020. The review by Audible listener Shelley goes more into the plot of Boundless Ambition which you may find helpful because the publisher's summary is a bit sparse on plot background. Scott Brick narrates wonderfully!

MR. WAYNE, YOU WERE RIGHT!
I chose this book directly upon reading the review by "WAYNE" (my favorite reviewer on AUDIBLE). As USUAL, Mr WAYNE was spot on- this was by far the best book in the series AND Tim Tiger is DEFINITELY on par with TOP AUTHORS SUCH AS VINCE FLYNN, Tom Wood, etc. In my opinion, THE NARRATOR, SCOTT BRICK, SHOULD BE THE "MANDANTORY" READER OF ALL BOOKS IN THIS GENRE!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW TALENTED MR. BRICK IS AND THE WAY HE BRINGS A STORY TO LIFE!! Tim Tiger and Scott Brick hit this one outta the park!!

I just love this series and the narrator.
Tim is a really good writer, not the best but extremely far from the worst! I have returned several books because of bad story lines or bad narration. I have yet to hear a bad Scott Brick narrative. He is by far my favorite, and I believe that he is picky with the stories he narrates. I don’t know if that’s true but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.
Follow Scott’s narratives, you won’t be sorry.

okay, final plot was a little silly, but...
Freaking love the Kyle Achilles character, the lines, the logic, the adventure. There was a new narrator, it took second or two to acclimate, but he did an awesome job.
it was an awesome book, I want to give specifics, but the title of my review would be pure spoiler alert. I will say I had the book a few days while I finished a couple of other books. I waited the same reason I eat my veggies and starches and save the meat for last, like it best and want to savor it. once I started, I started making free time to finish this book ASAP. it was too damn good to delay my listening.

Betrayal!!
This is the 5th “Kyle Achilles”book I have listened to and the 2nd read by Scott Brick. I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed all 5 of them.
Each story is different but all entail lots of action, danger and intrigue. I was fascinated by this particular story because of the politics involved.
I won’t give away the plot(s)-only that Kyle and Katya Achilles are both very brave and smart and love each other fiercely!!
If you enjoy intrigue, action, danger with a little true love thrown in, I highly recommend.
My only problem now is that this is the last in the series-for now. Mr. Tigner has promised a new book sometime in 2021. Can’t wait!!

Non-stop from start to finish
If you've read any of the books in the Kyle Achilles series by Tim Tigner, you know what to expect. And you'll be right. Non-stopped action from the first minute to the last. Tigner is a master of these kinds of tightly plotted stories whose locations jump around and whose characters are well enough created that you're not left wondering "where that came from." Scott Brick is a great match for Tigner's books. He does his usual great job with this story.
