With so many people affected, it is time to revisit our perceptions on this "culture of disabilities". Best-selling author, psychologist, and educator Thomas Armstrong illuminates a new understanding of neuropsychological disorders. He argues that if they are a part of the natural diversity of the human brain, they cannot simply be defined as illnesses. Armstrong explores the evolutionary advantages, special skills, and other positive dimensions of these conditions.

Brilliant! Wish it had an accompanying PDF
This thing is FULL of educational content and self-help exercises from start to finish. The only problem is locating those exercises later. I listen in the car and have to backtrack through the audiobook when I get home to find the exercises again. It’s a little time consuming. Other than that, I LOVE it! I’ll be coming back to this one again and again because of how much advice it has.

The only self help book you'll ever need to read.
Have read many self-help books over the years, however, this I would rate as one of the best ones. It's short however to the point. learning how to manage our Executive Functioning skills can assist everyone (especially those with ADHD) improve their life substantially. This is the type of book that you can read over and over again to really make the ideas in this book really stick with you. Highly recommend this for anyone with ADHD and/or poor Executive Functioning skills such as; impulse control, emotional regulation, & planning/organising. Great read, this book can and will change your life for the better.
