Where was this book when I was 16?

I love the book. It's full of great advice that's not condescending in the least. It's really compassionate too. It's not just a book of affirmations; it's got context and thoughtful explanations. Great narrator too.

Like talking to a friend

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator is so engaging and seems like someone who would be your friend. The book is positive, relatable and full of life examples and stories from people who have dealt with social anxiety issues and managed to make it better. They definitely resonated with me. I've already been working on some of the tips. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for Introverts!

As a parent of three teens, two of whom are directly affected by social anxiety, I can highly recommend this book. I found the topics discussed relevant as it related to changing their mindset and finding their voice. The tone of the book will make it easy for teens to engage as well.

My favorite part was the 5 crucial mindset changes and the easy tips and tricks to return to social life. The narrator also has a great voice and excellent pacing, a joy to listen to.

Awesome, practical resource!

Full of real world applications. This is well-distilled from life's every day challenges and obstacles. Includes personal stories from the author and even celebrities about their struggles and experiences with anxiety, how they cope, and overcome their personal problems. The book is also full of great calming activities. Enjoyed reading about Vipassana, an ancient meditation technique dating back to 500BC. Highly recommend!

Motivational, inspiring audiobook

I really enjoyed listening to this book – so motivational, so inspiring! It reminded me of the importance of focusing on myself - my values, uniqueness, my definition of success. I like the idea of the vision board which is often advised but the information in this book has helped me to appreciate their value in reducing/eliminating social anxiety. I now understand the impact of assumptions, labels and misconceptions.

Very useful information is presented in this audiobook.
