Publisher's Summary

Don’t allow binge eating to control your life: The key to food freedom may not be what you think....

We all occasionally overeat an extra helping of dessert or a second serving of a holiday meal, but there is a difference between overeating and binge eating.

People who struggle with binge eating often consume large quantities of food to the point of feeling overly full, eat a lot without feeling hungry, feel a lack of control, and they become trapped by cycles of bingeing that undermine their health and weight loss goals.

You might be feeling hopeless and trapped, but there is good news: You can stop that cycle.

In Break the Binge Eating Cycle, you will find all the tools you need to take back control of your eating habits. You will discover:

  • The nuts and bolts of bingeing: What it is, and why it happens
  • How your habits are sabotaging your goals
  • Why your kitchen organisation matters more than you think
  • Key psychological research that proves you can change your eating habits for good
  • The “rule of quarters”: how to feel full and satisfied just by arranging your dinner plate
  • And much more

If you struggle with binge eating, you probably feel uncomfortable just thinking about it. Binge eating is bound with guilt and shame, which can prevent you from addressing the problem. This leads to an endless cycle, and the further you let it progress, the harder it can be to overcome it.

But with simple, practical steps, you can tackle the problem head-on. You can stop your binge eating habits in their tracks and improve your relationship with food for good.

If you are ready to re-evaluate your relationship with food and stop binge eating forever, then Break the Binge Eating Cycle is for you. Scroll up, and click “buy” right now.

New perspective for the new year

I’m glad I got this when I did, because it’s giving me the motivation I need to start the new year with a healthy body and mind. Great book with actionable tools like kitchen organization and keeping a food diary. I’m already implementing what I’ve learned, and will definitely check out the paperback.

It will organize your thoughts.

I like the way that psychologically and structurally that book is built. All of that helps to organize your thoughts and pick the right thing to do in your particular situation. It's like a friendly guidance: "relax, I am here and I know what to do". It also helps understand your particular situation if you really eat a lot, and what to do next, step by step. It is like you organize yourself first and then the book gives you helpful "recipes".

WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW IT ALL.....

WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW IT ALL, this book shows up and I must say there were so many Aha moments for me, I couldn't keep track... from 80/20 rule to pitfalls to contributing genetic make up and more - this book has forced me to take a deeper look at my eating habits and given me some seriously solid options.... Thank you Silvana for this! I only wished the nutritionist I hired prior did half of what this book did for me. Thank you Thank you!

Just Start Right Now

This book gave me the tools needed to help a friend of mine find a way to over come emotional eating. I have recommended this book to that friend. I used to emotionally eat however after ending in the hospital that made me change right away. The workbook that comes with it is an awesome addition to help you recognize the what is going on and help you make a change in the right direction. If you are ready to make a change, my advice is to following the process honestly. Narrator quality in my opinion is great as well.

Useful information

The information in this audiobook is not only useful, but is life changing. The author makes you think about your relationship with food. The information on fad diets was particularly helpful. When I thought of dieting I didn't immediately make the connection to binge eating. The author esphizsizes that these restrictive diets led to triggers that invoke the same emotions that got you in the binge eating rut in the first place. Focusing on health, not food is the key to overcoming these behaviors. Each chapter concludes with exercises that help you craft the plan for improvement. If you are looking for something more than just a dieting book and want to see results then buy this audiobook. You'll be glad you did.

Binge Eating is An Emotional Crutch

After struggling with weight issues for the last few years, this audiobook is just the thing to make you understand why you binge eat, as it helped me. People use food, like some people use drugs or alcohol. Eating makes you feel better, for a while, then you start feeling bad about yourself or stressed about other things and eat again. This starts a viscious cycle. This book helps you understand the underlying reasons that you binge eat, so you can learn to control it. I highly recommend the book for anyone that wants to break the cycle.

Easy to follow, really works

Bought this as I found myself overeating junk food during COVID, and the pounds along with the dollars were really adding up. Break the Binge Eating Cycle not only shows you how to avoid binge eating, but where the habit started, and how to form a healthier, more balanced relationship with food as a result.

The narrator is enjoyable to listen to, is engaging without being overbearing. The content is laid out intuitively, in a way that helps the strategies make sense to the listener even if they have no previous knowledge or experience on the subject. If you suspect you might be a binge eater and are looking for a solution, you should at least give this a shot.

How to live longer and healthier

I did not realize how something as good as food can be used as an instrument to feed an addiction. Binge eating as addressed in this book is such an eye-opener. The truth is that many of us mindlessly engage in the practice!

This book provides an in-depth understanding of the subject, encourages us to correct our ways, and offers real solutions on how to make the shift mentally and practically.

A must-read for everyone who wants to live longer and healthier!

Brilliant book! Just what I needed!

What I love about this audio book is that it really makes you focus on your relationship with food and why we end up eating junk when we should be focusing on better nutrition. The English narrator is also very good and as an Englishman it was easy ti understand I feel a lot more positive and mindful about food as a lifestyle now and can use the practical tips moving forward. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to change their bad habits.

good stuff to think about!

What a journey! I hadn't really thought of the fact that I eat emotionally! I know this seems like a basic revelation, but I've focused so much on alcohol, sex, and show habits, I hadn't gotten around to food yet! this book was eye-opening and challenging in the best sense and I super appreciate Silvia publishing it! very helpful and great insights :)
