Great story

This a great story with a really great narrator! One thing I would change is the pronunciation of Lima, Ohio....it’s pronounced like Lima Beans, not Lima, Peru.

"Suspension of Disbelief" problem

I read sci-fi so I understand the idea of "Suspension of Disbelief." However, I do not believe a secret military transport wouldn't have guards, bullet proof cabs, locked cabs, or other safety measures. I kept thinking of how money is transported, so why wouldn't a secret military transport have just as much security.

Also, in the other books, nothing about Tavon had been described as having any PTSD or adjustment problems. Suddenly, he does. So that got me, too.

I understand that problems of some type must present in a story. I think it could have been handled differently.

Strange

I find it strange that Ty & his woman had to share their adventure with another couple. I wonder why? Nah not really. I know why.

Love of country or life?

Good gosh! Kimberley Troutte provides us with another fine story. Perhaps she was just getting warmed up with the first two books of this series. Army Specialist Rebecca Finlan was a motivated, determined young woman who wanted to learn everything she could about large vehicles and long-haul trucking. She wanted to fulfill her deceased father’s dream of owning a father/daughter trucking company. If not that, then she wanted a life with her lover and Commanding Officer, Jackson. Commanding Officer? I heard a couple of people call him Sargeant First Class. Which is right? Can’t be both. When her time in the Army was up she was going to go home to fulfill one dream unless Jackson “proposed” something different. Jackson had assigned Rebecca to drive the lead truck in a convoy carrying Top Secret equipment. The convoy is ambushed, Rebecca is taken prisoner, but remained driving to call in at specific times. Another hostage is taken and delivered to the convoy, but that would be giving away too much. This brings us to the main point of the story from which the remainder flows. The circumstances within the convoy, the efforts to regain control of it, and the hostages, which include the EXtreme Team, make up the remainder of the story. It’s not a bad story, not as good as book three, but better than books one and two. The telepathic communication between Rebecca and Jackson seemed more like filler, as it didn’t add to or progress the story arc. There are a couple of twists in the plot, not a lot of action, but the tension is kept high due to the hostages.

Heat brought

Loved that this one had Army & Navy working together (while still giving each other $#it) and that both couples had their own things to work through. A little on the unrealistic side but still a fun addition to the series.

Whew! You won’t be bored with this high octane story!

Fast paced story told from 3 POVS…Army Specialist Rebecca Finlan is leading a convoy carrying top secret weaponry when they are ambushed and her team is killed…including her CO, and bf, Jackson. The high jackers have also kidnapped the wife of a SEAL. We know that this won’t end well. Great story and narration.

Okay story

It didn’t excite me or annoy me, it wasn’t a waste of time, just okay.

I love to listen to Noah Michael Levine, great narrator or what I like to call voice actor.

Left me breathless

Action from start to finish. I found the narrator difficult to listen to at the beginning but turned the speed down and it improved it a lot.
Glad Ive found another author to enjoy
