Story
For Sara, an elite police dog trainer for the federal government, attractive women in uniform are an occupational hazard. But she gave her heart to a coworker once before, and the battle scars from that failed relationship are still fresh. She dodges every chance at romance with the officers she trains, focusing her energy on turning out the finest handler-canine teams in the country. But when annoyingly perky, unfairly sexy Isabel Marquez arrives at Homeland Security’s Northeast Regional Training facility, Sara's good intentions start to falter.

Story
When Remy's grandmother dies, it means leaving her life in San Francisco and returning to a town she swore she'd never revisit, forced to confront a world she'd worked hard to put behind her over the last twelve years. She's not expecting that the first girl to ever steal her heart, the pretty, popular Fallon Lewis, is still around, and in a town this small, their paths continue to cross, much to Remy's dismay. It's hard enough seeing her first love, but it's exponentially more difficult when she can barely stand to look at the woman.

Free-spirited and easygoing Taylor Vandenberg left her hometown of Faircombe, Tennessee, as soon as she could, and in the twenty-five years since, she has rarely looked back. Caroline Parker knows three things to be true. First, she is going to be Boston's most sought-after divorce attorney by 35. Second, given how terrible her romantic track record is, falling in love isn't in the cards for her. And third, Christmas only brings her bad luck - being broken up with not once, not twice, but three times during the holidays is proof enough of that. When she runs into Hannah Dalton on Christmas Eve, she has no reason to believe her luck will change. After all, though Hannah is probably the most gorgeous woman she's ever seen, she's also straight.

er kinda boring
Awesome narrator but the book is pretty slow. This book is what made me learn that audible has an in app return limit. I'm frustrated with the lack of a plot so far. Is there a problem in this story? Oh my god then they talk about pronouns. Can there just be woman lesbians who accept themselves as a singular person and not a group. Who is this book for?

Boring and irratating
First of all I didn't like Ashley. She plucked my last nerve . I found myself forwarding faster. Now I don't care
what you say, her ex wouldn't have gotten the time of day. I would have been polite like hello bye. I don't care how
the author tried too clean it up. Oh it was my fault. If it hurt you every time you saw them, you might as get on your
knees and say beat me. I can't stand a person whose a glutton for punishment. I don't need to conversate with you.
It irritated the heck out of me. And that's why I don't like it. Please you lesbian authors stop making us look so weak.

Loved everything about it
I read this first and let me tell you having Lori prince read it too me was the icing on the cake....
I feel that this book is some of Cummings best work yet. the romance that she built between Ashleigh and Kellan is some of the best I have read . I loved how the storyline between the two mains took us through the city of New York and the surrounding burrows, It was the slow burn buildup of the romance between the two mains that kept me invested in this book.
This story filled my heart so full I couldn’t get enough of it, the faster I turned the pages the deeper I fell into this amazing romance. The chemistry between Ash and Kell was off the charts hot, the sexy time was so hot some of it made me blush. Trust me you will want to read this book as soon as you can.

Brilliant
I absolutely loved this book. It is a story of Ash a teacher, who is recently divorced and still lives near her ex, who is now with a man. During her summer holiday she decides to visit all the sights in New York City. She is accompanied on her sightseeing by a friend of a friend Kellan. Kellan is just out of the army and is flat sitting for her aunt during the summer holidays. They are attracted to each other, but their attraction is slow moving, with lots of flirtation. Very well written with great descriptions of NYC sights, which made me want to visit. It is a lovely, feel good book and I would highly recommend.

Perfect summer listen
Brooklyn Summer is exactly the kind of book where Lori Prince excels: light, sexy and relatively angst-free. Ms Prince is one of my favourite narrators and I’ll listen to her in any lesfic genres and never be disappointed, but she’s really at her best in stories like this one.
I loved the book, I loved the audiobook just as much: Lori Prince brings the characters to life perfectly, Ashley and Kellan are still sweet, they still have fantastic chemistry and their story is heartwarming and sunny. It’s a perfect summer read and/or listen.
