Buried Secrets
As always I loved this story. I would have preferred a little less of the romance, the"hot" remarks were a little excessive. All of it was clean. The suspense was intriguing and entertaining. The killer's M.O. was unique and mysterious. The McGregor brothers are interesting and I'm looking forward to their continued adventures. I have a soft spot for military and law enforcement characters. Lisa is an amazing police chief. She and Mac made a formidable crime fighting team. Plus add a dog and the plot is complete. The narrator was superb and added another wonderful dimension to an already superb story. I'm getting ready to listen to Thin Ice, the next in the series.

Absolutely fantastic
This is my first book of your's Irene Hannon, and I absolutely loved it, and will certainly be listening to more. The narrator was lovely too and made you believe it was real! Also lovely to read books that don't compromise on the Word of God, I have no interest in secular books anymore and am thrilled that there are fantastic authors in the Christian novels. Thank you and God bless you!

Edge of your seat listening
Where does Buried Secrets rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Buried Secrets rates in the top 3 of the books that I have listened to so far. It is the first book I have listened to by Irene Hannon.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Lisa was my favorite character because I liked how spunky she was in investigating the case as well as how she managed the handsome Mac MacGregor. She was good at keeping him off balance and he intelligently and carefully managed her too.
Which character – as performed by Therese Plummer and Jennifer Grace – was your favorite?
Again it was Lisa. I loved how they performed her when she was thinking to herself about the case and MacGregor.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, when she went to Lisa's house to kill her and Mac couldn't reach her because Jessica was pushing her to exercise so that her blood sugar would bottom out. As she was losing her ability to keep going as her blood sugar plummeted it was tense wondering if Mac would get to her in time to save her. Then it was heart warming when he was with her as the paramedics were reviving her.
Any additional comments?
I love Irene Hannon's books. She is a new author to me and I am eager to listen to more of her books.

not worth it
the majority of this book was about the two very dull main characters.
the crime and its investigation was a tiny fragment of the story.
really badly written
