Good story

This is a very short story. It probably would make a good series if the author was so inclined.

"To figure a crazy man."

Book three of the Matt Scherer short stories written and read by Lawrence Block. Scherer relates the time a drinking acquaintance hired him to look into the killing of his wife on the evening of the burglary of their apartment. Block really becomes the lagubrious and cynical loner ex- cop as he tells the story. So much packed into so short a time without, it seems, even trying.
Excellent.

Fun Listen

I loved it. Reminds me of the Mickey Spilane novels of my youth. I'm glad the bad guy got it in the end.
