Publisher's Summary
A magical Arabian Nights tale from the captivating creator of fantasy Diana Wynne Jones. The dazzling sequel to Howls Moving Castle, now a major animated film.
Far to the south in the Land of Ingary, lives a young carpet merchant called Abdullah. In his dreams, he is the long-lost son of a great prince. This dream is a complete castle in the air…or is it?
Abdullah’s day-dreams suddenly start to come true when he meets the exquisite Flower-in-the-Night, daughter of the ferocious Sultan of Zanzib. Fate has destined them for each other, but a bad-tempered genie, a hideous djinn, and various villanous bandits have their own ideas. When Flower-in-the-Night is carried off, Abdullah is determined to rescue her - if he can find her.

Not as good as Howl's moving castle but stick with
So the book is no where near as good as Howl's Moving Castle but it did have a satisfying ending. The narrator was not as good as the lady who narrated Howl's Moving Castle which was a bit annoying as she did the voices beautifully. I am just a bit sad that the third book isn't on audible.

Incomparable to Howls moving castle
Unfortunately for me, there just wasn't enough character development to really connect with the characters.

Castle in the air
Loved the Story featuring Howl and Sophie, although with a whole new cast and different main characters, it still featured the original hero's in the Book. The book was absolutely amazing and hilarious with the different voices though for some of the characters could of been done better, but over all a great book from a wonderful author. Great listening to while walking around the streets.

DWJ has better but the performance is lovely
I'm a massive fan of DWJ but... It's not as good as the previous in the series and this series overall is for younger readers rather than her more sophisticated stuff.
However, the performance is really delightful and felt like a kindly grandad reading me a bedtime story. Which was fun and relaxing to listen to as I went through my chores.
