Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds comes the first novel in the fun, sexy, and thrilling How to Catch an Alpha series.

Leah Emerson isn’t looking for a man - she’s looking for the right man. But her mother’s idea of a great catch leaves her cold, and she’s pretty sure her cocky, arrogant, and way too good-looking new neighbor isn’t the one either. If only her wayward cat would stop jumping through his window, she could get on with her life.

Tyler Duncan moved into town for a new job, not to fall in love. But he always goes after the things he wants in life with steadfast determination…and he wants Leah Emerson. He wants her smiles, he wants her touch, and he definitely wants her in bed.

Unfortunately, someone else wants Leah - in the worst way. Now Tyler’s on a mission to protect the woman he’s falling in love with while proving he’s worth falling for, and Leah must decide whether Tyler is a catch worth catching…

So sweet!

I did a re-read with the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic! I loved this just as much as I did the first time I read it.

This was filled with so much sugary goodness. It's low angst, funny with a protective alpha and a sweet heroine that you can't help but love. This is my favorite type of a light read. It's stress free but still delivers what I want in a book.

Tyler is a take charge alpha who knows what he wants and he wants Leah. Leah is a total sweetheart. She's the type of heroine that everyone just loves to be around. She has had some bad luck with past boyfriends and now she is taking her grandma's advice. No more chasing men. If they want her, they have to make a move and Tyler is the right man for the job.

We got so much couple time which I love to see in the books I read. There is also some really great side characters as well as some cute scenes with kids. I highly recommend this book, especially to readers who just want a fun, low angst read.

Catching Him

This one was so good. It was sweet and hot and sexy and that is just Tyler. Add in Leah who is totally great and so optimistic I found myself cheering them along. Definitely a perfect read or listen!

Amazeballs!!

I loved this book! It is full of laughter, some tears, suspense and a hella lot of steam. The narrators did a fantastic job and made the story so much better than just reading it.

Small town goodness!

This is my first book by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and it was just the perfect combination of small town romance and steamy scenes. I loved how the couple never doubted each other and the drama was outside their relationship. The narration was amazing, I loved the female narrator!

This is not paranormal!

I was expecting some werewolfs. And I don't think that's too much to expect when the book is labelled as paranormal and the series is called How to Catch an Alpha... I did think it was a bit strange to leave it out of the synopsis, and now I know why. Unless a wewewolf showes up in the last 1 hrs, but I highly doubt it!

I guess the story is okay, but a little dull. Follows the storyline; meet-cute, get together fast without any obstacels because all those come later and they have to stand together as a couple to get through them, and I am guessing a HEA. DNF because I have listend to this storyline SO many times, and it was not what I was looking for.

Loved the bit of suspense

Such a wonderful love story! There was a bit of suspense, but really just a whole lot of love!!! If you're looking for low angst, fairly steamy and so much freaking love you can just feel it, pick up this book!

A fab story!

I was really enjoying this book until.....the awful male narrator. His voice sounds like he should be voice overing commercials. Thankfully he only voices about 3 chapters.

Great Listen

An amazing romance for those that want to read about happily ever afters and everlasting love. I listened to this book as an audiobook and loved the overall book. The narration was amazing and definitely added a certain personality to the characters. If anything, while they are both amazing narrators when I listened to the narrator speaking for Tyler, I was quite surprised because it definitely put the sound of his voice differently in my head (if that makes sense). While the blurb does mention someone wanting Leah, it isn't something that completely overtakes the story, it is actually only a small part of the book. The main ideas this book covers is the relationship in itself and how it grows and strengthens even in rough situations. A great book to listen to and would definitely recommend it if you liked reading the blurb.
