Publisher's Summary

Summoning dragons exacts a price. Can they afford to pay it?

Augum, Bridget, and Leera are the first to summon dragons in thousands of years. But the ancient spell inflicts an unforeseen side effect - after every casting, it turns them against each other.

As the Canterran army plunders their kingdom, Katrina Von Edgeworth uses her siege engine dragon to crush all resistance. The trio, fledglings at fighting in the air, soon find themselves outmatched.

Now everything hangs by a thread, and Augum, Bridget, and Leera must somehow carve a path to victory - without gouging each other's eyes out.

Little do they know the enemy is readying a deadly surprise.

An Epic Conclusion To An Epic Series

Absolutely stunning. I do not know how else to describe this book and this series. Fast paced action and adventure, filled with mystery, intrigue and raw emotion. This book and series are up there in the best i have ever read, and i have read a lot.

Good story but too much Teen age Drama

There is even a title named Teen Drama.. Fast forward a must.. Great story but the drama part with kids is insane. char's go from war hardened adults to weak willed kids and back and forth to drag the story out. If you skip those parts its not a bad story, just lots of filler. Could have been and epic series

what a wonderful way to wrap up

this series has been fantastic. ive loved every little thing in this series. the characters are compelling, the world is deep and feels well constructed and seeing the story arc of the trio has been amazing. the only gripe i have is the narrator change was very jarring and not to discredit the VA, he's wonderful, but the voice actor from the previous series was perfect and the difference in emotion was fairly jarring at first and i recognize that it was the publishers decision but despite that, i grew used to the new voice actor. overall, fantastic job.

A wonderful and sweet conclusion to Augum's story!

Ah, a bittersweet finality and a strong smell of spoilers!

The story reached it's natural and wonderful conclusion and I can't for the life of me shake the feeling I have seen a story with a young boy with huge expectations defeat a menacing bald villain with an evil order, antithesis to the hero's own, with the villain even hurting the hero's beloved! This is not-at-all referencing a certain 2019 conclusion to a Japanese mash-up action RPG videogame series.

This has been a wild ride of attention-gripping emotions! A lot of times when I had to rewind and atop doing things to concentrate on the story, I found myself indeed feeling that Augum's story has come to a place where he rivals the strongest of his world's Warlocks, and from here the story can only go skyward (pun intended!) but might fall just as flat, with the most interesting things coming up being command and intrigue, two things that were an important part of this series, but which the hero didn't wish to be part in and suffered greatly during the first books: I believe we've seen enough of him suffer, and enjoy the conclusion of this champion's story. Even though we'd definitely love seeing more spells, stripes, and even sleeves! But I believe that's why the author now releases a certain Arcane Artisan's series :)

Thank you Sever Bronny for the wonderful story! Thank you Gary Furlong for bringing life to the characters and voice the background effects!
Thank you and hope to hear you again!

Middle names can be overwhelming

Great continuation of the Stone, Jones, Burns story.
While the story was great, the countless reiteration of first middle and last names became a burden for this listener. It seems as though Sever Bronny was out to add more weight (length) to the story by use of all thos names. I look forward to the continuation and can only hopw for a bit lighter product.

Great Freaking Books!!!!

I have to commend Mr. Sever Bronny on this whole series of Augm and his companions. I Seriously enjoyed every second of each book while driving down these highways delivering goods. Gary Furlong made these books enjoyable as well, its just a great set of listens, and I loved all of them. So Thank you to all involved!!!!

Phenomenal

It was difficult for me to adjust to the narration change from the first series to this series, and the first two books just didn't enthrall me like the first series, but this final peice pulled it all together and brought back the same obsession as the original series instilled in me. Absolutely phenomenal. I CANNOT wait for the Anna Atticus series, I am practically drooling.
