Publisher's Summary

Chanakya was an Indian teacher, philosopher, and royal advisor. He managed the first Maurya emperor Chandragupta’s rise to power at a young age. He is widely credited for having played an important role in the establishment of the Maurya Empire, which was the first empire in archaeologically recorded history to rule most of the Indian subcontinent.

Chanakya is traditionally identified as Kautilya or Vishnu Gupta, who authored the ancient Indian political treatise called Arthasastra. As such, he is considered as the pioneer of the field of economics and political science in India, and his work is thought of as an important precursor to classical economics.

Awesome Narration of Sanskrit and Hindi !!!

Each word and sentence written by Chanakya are still relevant in today’s world. The way and interpretation might be different but success is guaranteed if you understand and follow .. ofcourse lots of things said are difficult to do or perform in modern society or community we live in e.g. Yagya, Donation and Feeding Brahmana, Guru seva etc but not impossible if someone wants to do it !! Best part is narration - if you are from Hindi back ground you love it 😍.. The voice of Rishi Upadhyay gives you feeling like real voice of somebody who can be imagined as near as Chanakya !! Perfect for all individuals either Day to day working class, Business man, politicians, Managers , Entrepreneurs etc ..

Not in English

This book was narrated in language I do not understand. While I appreciate the need and interest of others, it seemed too easy for me to make the mistake of choosing a book I could not understand.

Absolutely loved the simpler translation.

This is beautifully translated, in a manner understandable to all. A lot of commonly known nitis become clearer too.
