Publisher's Summary

Pretty paper and bows make promises, the gift inside rarely keeps.

December comes to Chancey in this eighth audiobook in the series with promises of new birth, new love, new opportunities all tied up with shiny bows.

Christmas is making a comeback in Chancey with Missus Blue ribbons tied on everything that stands still. Newcomers to town gussy up the gazebo complete with magnolia leaves, tiny lights, and even a chandelier.

Remembering the Christmas of 1945, the Chancey Parlor and Depot is opened with solemnity, white roses, and a renewed feud. Then the first annual Christmas parade marches through the streets, complete with two mayoral candidate floats.

Carolina finds herself busier than ever in Blooming Books with Bonnie following new dreams and Shannon nursing a broken heart - somewhere. While back home at the B&B, surprise guests make that not such a good place to be either. Not to mention Jackson suddenly working from home and Savannah acting like her mom’s best friend?

Maybe that’s why they wrap presents up so nice. You don’t know you don’t want it until you can’t give it back.

I have never read a better series!

This story will suck you in and you will be hooked. Each book you get a little more invested. I don’t know if there will be anymore in the series but I will be first in line if there are.

More chancey

I was glad to see some resolution to issues and relationships that had fallen to the wayside. Still lots of work to do, but a beginning. Some of the Jessop kids are using the few brain cells they have for more than head warmers!! They all have so much wasted potential. More chances coming. I look for to more catastrophes. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Chancey life

I am grateful that I was able to listen to this series, to be part of Chancey life. Carolina handles life with aplomp. Thoroughly entertaining, well written and narrated
