Publisher's Summary

One-hundred-seventy some odd days left in my senior year, and everything has changed. I went from untouchable to dating my best friends to making out to being betrayed. Why can’t they understand humiliating and controlling me doesn’t say I care?

Could this get any worse?

We’ve all crossed lines. Broken the rules.

Ian had asked me to Homecoming.

Jake spent the night in my bed.

Coop and I had made out on the sofa.

But Archie? Archie and I had blown past all of them.

Now?

I had to get out of here more than ever. Change was inevitable. College was coming. That was where my focus needed to be. Not on the four guys I adored. Our friendship was everything, and there wasn’t enough chocolate in the world to salvage this situation.

Losing them for a few months hurt.

Losing them forever might be inevitable, but it would be unbearable.

*Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always listen to the forward in her books. Contains some bullying elements, mature situations, and is recommended for 17+. This is the second in a series and the story will continue through future books.

So monotonous!

Ok. I give up. I’m just over 50% in and I can’t take this anymore. I enjoyed book one enough to see where the story would go. I did find it odd that such a long book covered such a small amount of time (about the first two weeks of the school year). There was decent world building, intrigue, character and relationship development, etc to maintain my interest. But the second installment is covering so much of the same type stuff with less novelty and excitement. It’s seriously the same things…over and over and over. This heroine is also pretty lame and boring. I’m so tired of listening to every detail of her class work, homework assignments, work schedule, difficult class load, etc. There are a couple questions I’d like answers to but this just isn’t for me…no longer holding my focus. And the mom…she is such a POS…it’s to the point of not even believable! Cutting my losses. Good narration though.

♥️

This second book in the untouchable series by @heathervlong . This book took place over just a week of time and a while lot goes down. From happy to sad

The ex-girlfriends to the guys have put it together that all of the guys seem to be dating Frankie and are definitely not a fan. Frankie feels bad for them- because she sees that they are just hurting. The guys had already broken up with them before doing anything with Frankie. But the ex’s look at it like if she wasn’t in the picture then all would be well. Frankie is being bullied and with the hectic things going on at home on top of it it’s just a ton :(

The guys are pretty sweet, though. They have moments where they need to calm down and not make excuses for past misdeeds. The heat turns up even more here, too. However, one of the guys seems unable to handle being a harem member and decided to back down. It has Frankie rethinking the dating them all thing.

Frankie's focus on school has been bad. It is shot through most of the book. I hope she can pull it back together. She’s just struggling all around. We also get to meet Mr. thorns (the secret admirer)

Can’t wait to get into book 3 ♥️

Oh My Poor Heart

Wow!!! Just wow!! What the kids experience in such a short period of time is nuts!!!! Frankie is having so many changes so quickly. I don’t know how she’s doing it. Ian made me cry and cry, but I’m betting he will fix it. Off to the next book. I’ve gotta know what’s happening.

Narrators…awesome!!!!!

Won’t be finishing the series

Narration: both male and female did a good job.

Story: this is the 2nd book in the series and I’m so annoyed with the female lead I can’t stand to finish the book or series. Which is VERY telling because I have to know how things resolve in all books. Female lead keeps making the same stupid choice over and over again by NOT talking. It’s incredibly obnoxious and while I get it adds to the storyline catalyst … it grates too much on the nerves.

Changes and Chocolates

I'm completely invested in Frankie's story. Heather Long really knows how to write a well balanced high school romance where I can enjoy the pace and the topics that come up.

As if juggling a friendship/relationship with all her boys isn't enough, Frankie has to deal with her mother and a bunch of bullies both of whom are getting increasingly worse as the plot progresses. Seeing how the boys back her up, as well as Rachel is amazing.

What stands out to me is the realistic pace of the story. It progresses slowly in a way, but allows us to dive so much deeper in the dynamics between these characters.

I can't wait to dive in the next book.

Changes

Book 2 is all about changes especially inn the relationship between Frankie and her guys Ian, Archie, Coop, and Jake. The changing relationship with her horrible mother. Can I say Frankie's mother is the literal worse she deserves nothing but pain that I hope is coming her way during the rest of the series. Can't wait to see what book 3 has in store.

Love this!

Frankie and the guys are hit with one thing after the other. They want to protect her but don't know who the threats are coming from. Her mom is having an affair, jealous girls are making school unbearable and how is she going to date her best friends without tearing them all apart? Love this second installment of the Untouchable series. Can't wait for the next one!

Buy on AUDIBLE - Dual narration is AWESOME!

Bought on Audible, and the dual narration (man - Grayson Owens - does all the males voices and lady - Marnye Young - does all the female) was just AWESOME. I was totally hooked, and invested from half hour in, and happily ignored real life to carry on listening :)

I genuinely loved it so much I went and bought all the the rest of the series (well all on audible, two are yet to be audio books), and have spent this week listening through them all - who needs sleep!

I like the gentle growth of each character, the very realistic caution and confusion over their situation and relationship.

It is a hugely developed world and journey considering how very short the amount of time the book actually covers. I'm on book 7 right now and they are still in the current year at High School (only negative, the age... wish they were older!).
