Publisher's Summary

Chasin Murray found The One. His perfect match. And in a single act of stupidity he threw her away.

Genevieve Ellison is not a woman Chasin can forget, even if she was only his for the weekend. But now that she’s back in his life, the last thing she wants is a reconciliation. And with her comes a deadly secret, one that blindsides the former SEAL.

A relentless stalker threatened Genevieve Ellison until she fled Nashville, seeking solace in Kent County at her family’s vacation home. The country music star hadn’t planned on meeting the one person on earth who has no idea who she is. She also hadn’t planned on falling in love only to have her heart shattered.

When new and repulsive evidence comes to light, Genevieve can no longer deny how much danger she’s in. Luckily for her, Gemini Group is willing to protect her. What’s not so lucky - the man who did the heart breaking is back in her life.

While Genevieve and Chasin are busy playing games of the heart, the stalker makes a deadly move. The two lovers may have won their battle, but someone is determined to win the war - permanently.

nice blend

The narration team does a great job of using inflection and tone to separate the characters. Chasin's story is a very nice blend of suspense and romance. Vivi/Evie is a well rebounded character with heavy darkness in her past, Chasin is able to help her overcome her demons and Evie's strength helps Chasin to leave his scars behind. I love the team. I love revisiting with all of them. This is a great story with engaging characters.

So Much More Than the Excitement

Loved reading this book, but the narration was spot on! Joe Arden's gruff-voiced Chasin was so good and Erin Mallon was her usual stellar self. So many emotions all in one book, and all of it was just right. I love this series from Riley Edwards and the found family of the men of Gemini Group with their women never gets old.

You See Me!!

Chasin and Evie to damaged souls who must fight not only her stalker but each must deal with childhood drama caused by parents and the enability to trust . This is a slow story to start but once Edward's hits her groove it is fast paced passionate and will throw you for a loop once her stalker is revealed. I enjoy that the core group stays the same throughout each book and adds to the main story.Riley Edward's has fast become one of my favorite authors when I found her books earlier this year starting with the 007 I didn't think her story telling could get any better I was wrong.

Chasin and Genevieve story

Oh my gosh! Riley Edwards is becoming one of my favorite authors! She can place you inside every book she writes and you read!
Genevieve is hiding because she has a stalker and found herself face to face with someone who had no idea how famous she actually is. Chasin sees her fall in the water while he is kayaking and dives in to save her. When he gets to see her face, he is speechless.
Chasin jumps to conclusions on a phone conversation he overhears, and storms off after honestly thinking he is falling in love with Evie after just a weekend together, not letting her or even asking her to explain.
Can Evie and Chasin find their way back to reconciling the relationship they were beginning to build before the stalker shows up? Joe Arden and Erin Mallon do an incredible job as these characters. I enjoy listening to their story lines!

Chasin's Surrender

I love books with women county music singers. Genevieve is such a good person and even thought I can't hear her music I can feel it through Riley's words. Also, Chasin is super hot plus a seal...sign me up.

Chasin's Surrender - Gemini Group - is AWESOME

Absolutely loved reading and listening to this book. Riley does a good job of covering how our main characters meet in this book so that you do not have to read the ending of Book 4 but it is 100% worth it to read all the books in the series. I have been invested in all these characters from Book 1 and you will be as well. The spice level is off the charts from the very beginning. I have my favorites in the series and this is a definite favorite. Highly recommend.

Prefect Match!

Genevieve Ellison fell into Chasin Murray’s life when he was out kayaking. They had a perfect weekend together and both were struggling to understand how “perfect” things were going until Chasin made an assumption that left him breaking her heart. Genevieve didn’t plan on having her heartbroken even if it made for great country songs. She was seeking distance and solace from a stalker while trying to continue to write her next album not knowing how much danger she was truly in. Her best friend Bobby is entertaining! I have to say listening to this book only made it better because I didn’t have to imagine the characters with their own unique accents. This was another great book in this series. I love a series and characters that you learn about and grow as their story develops. It’s no surprise that I am falling in love with each book in the series. Riley adds actions, steam and real-life drama into her stories that have me unable to stop listening. I hate to take time to leave a review before starting the next book!

Enjoyable country music star - bodyguard romance

He sees her! Great exciting start and twist. Riley Edwards knows how to build a great world and because of that this really isn't a standalone. I highly recommend starting at the beginning or you might be lost with names and references.

The problem with this book was I have been binge-listening to them all and the characters and relationships are too similar to all the others. I need some variety. More awful parents and self-worth problems. I also didn't like the part where all the ladies get together and go over all the previous stories - hopefully, you read them already so they are not spoiled or really confused. Glad I listened but probably wouldn't do a reread like the others.

Both Joe and Erin are great narrators but the southern accent just isn't my thing.

Vivi and Chasin

Sweet body guard/security team and starlet romance. Add some past hurts, and a dash of light Kink. I love a sexy growly alpha, and Riley truly knows how to deliver.

Riley also chose excellent voice actors! Both are wonderful and acting out the voices and making it clear whose talking!.

I adore this series!

Genevieve is a country music star who is growing weary of the trappings of fame, including a dangerous stalker. Chasin meets her when she’s hiding out, and at first, he has no clue who she is, only that they are wildly attracted to each other. After a few blissful days and nights together, a misunderstanding causes Chasin to walk out the door and throw her away.

Genevieve turns to the Gemini Group for help as her stalker grows more scary and dangerous. Chasin finally puts everything together, and realizes he has serious amends to make if he wants to win this woman back and keep her safe.

This series has become one of my all-time favorites. You can listen to these books on their own, but they are so much better in order as one book neatly dovetails into another. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon really bring this book to life, including a little bit of signing, and Genevieve’s Tennessee drawl.

What a start

I adore the start of this book, as an intro to the characters it blows me up, and then it just gets better and better.

Joe & Erin do another amazing job with narrating this book, bringing all the emotions to life including the uncomfortable ones that make you wince at the rawness of them. When Evie wants to hate Chasin that comes through, when Chasin harbours regret for his actions, you feel that too.

From lust to love to hate to distrust to acceptance to love this book barrels it’s way through all the feels a couple could possibly have in a compressed timeline (a given if you know anything about these men, when they know, they KNOW!)

I love how Chasin was so hyper aware of who Evie was and when she was being herself and when not. I loved how Evie didn’t just roll over and stood up for herself. I loved her relationship ship with Bobbie, as well as with Holden too…so sweet

Another couple goals for me, this book is written and narrated so perfectly.

On to the book with truly all the emotions next, I’m bracing myself for this on. Bring it on Holden….

I loved the dynamic in this story. The characters backstories added so much to their current struggles but the way they pulled together made my Heart happy.

Chasin & Genevieve

Wow this book was one heck of a ride. There was enough suspense and action to make a Hollywood movie very jealous, enough steamy scenes that would make this film (if it was a film) only be shown way way past the watershed and tons of love and friendship.

Riley Edwards is brilliant but adding Erin Mallon and Joe Arden to the mix was a strike of genius.

Perfect mix of romance and suspense!

Riley Edwards has me hooked on this series! I cannot get enough! Chasin's story is the perfect mix of suspense and romance. From the first night, Chasin new Genevieve was his person. But circumstances and his past ended in a bad decision and both of them alone. Now Evie is in danger. As a famous singer, there are always threats, but this one is now hitting too close to home. Gemini Group is brought in without knowing Chasin is part of it, and now he is on a mission to keep her safe. But even with the entire team to back him up, will everyone come out alive? This is such an exciting story. I love Evie! I love how she knows herself and exactly what she wants. Keeping herself grounded, she is in tune with life and the direction she wants to go. Chasin is a little too spontaneous with his actions, but he is learning from it, and his love and loyalty runs deep. Plus we get to hang with all the group, and it's becoming extremely comfortable with them all! I am looking forward to Holden's story next!

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are so good in this one. Each giving Evie a slight southern twang, and spotlights on Mallon singing made this listen come alive! Arden continues to bring these alpha men to life, and as Chasin, he has a stubborn streak and a teddy bear heart. This team can do no wrong and it just makes me want more from them! Bring on the next book!

Exceptional Story, Series & Narration🎧

Riley Edwards pens another winner of a novel set in her “Gemini Group” series, featuring another amazing member from the team of former Navy Seals. Each book in this series features a different member of the Gemini Group team, their stories stand on their own but it would be beneficial to enjoy them in the order written, the epilogue introduces you to the next book and lead character for that book, plus characters crossover into each other’s books and seeing them again is like seeing an old friend. This fifth book is Chasin Murray and Genevieve “Evie” Ellison’s story and it is another action packed, romantic suspense that will keep you on your toes and take you to the edge of your seat. The book is hard to put down because you need to know what happens next. Genevieve, a country music star, is staying at her uncle’s house to stay out of the limelight, when she falls off the dock a hunk of man comes to her rescue and it surprised her he did not recognize her or even know who she was, which was a pleasant surprise. Chasin was at the right place and the right time and he thinks he met the woman of his dreams. They spent a memorable weekend together, a steamy hot weekend, but his insecurities get the best of him and he blows it, and she wants nothing to do with him. Genevieve’s stage name is Vivi Rush, and she has a stalker who is escalating his threats, the real reason she is hiding off the grid, the cops have done nothing for her so she and her manager, Bobbie, who is also her best friend, decide to hire the Gemini Group to investigate. She was not expecting to see Chasin there, since they never discussed their jobs. When Chasin learns what is happening with her, he puts himself on the case, it was then that he realized how big he screwed up and he is hoping she will give him another chance and forgive. Bobbie says she does not do second chances, but she encourages him to try, and he is not about to give up on her. The chemistry between those two was smoking hot, and it was great to watch them get to know each other and open up to one another. Despite her fame and fortune, she is lonely and has her own insecurities, but Chasin saw her for who she was, not her stardom or stage persona, just Genevieve, or as he calls her Evie. With the Gemini Group on the case, they figure out who the stalker is, but catching him was another story. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, some angsty, mystery, thrilling suspense and a steamy hot romance. Riley Edwards, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Erin Mallon and Joe Arden are doing an amazing job performing the roles of the characters, they have been humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality and are believable in every role they play. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance and make you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

what is there not to love about this book

oh my goodness,Riley Edwards you are a superstar this is one of your best books yet I absolutely loved Vivi and chasins story.
you managed to catch depths and pain in what I think a superstar would experience. I know there are a lot of celebrities that just roll with the cash and the notoriety but I also know there are a lot of grounded humble famous people out there and it was good to see your take on one of those types.
Genevieve started off much like silver and Macy and I thought oh no we're going to get another stubborn heroine but it was just a matter of breaking through some walls that were different to Silver's and different to Macy's.
the overall tone to this romance was a little different too and it was nice to have an alternative take on a relationship.
as for the narrator's.... what can you say about perfection . Joe Arden is his awesome self as usual and Erin mallon you, you wonderful person are so fast becoming my favourite narrator I absolutely enjoy listening to your voice when you sang, it surprised me as it was the first time that I've actually heard you sing in a novel.
as for Riley you're absolutely fabulous you're right up there with Susan Stoker and kris Michaels... I just love all your books that are on audible I just wish the next generation would come to audible in a hurry and of course I'm looking forward to and Jonnys story.
I expect Holden is going to be a tricky character to write as he is carrying on an eight-year heartache and that is not going to be an easy fix so in saying that I think the heroine is going to be one feisty lady.
so excited can't wait.
I'm also hoping audible brings another of your series to the table..." the next generation " so looking forward to listening to that series and their alphas andbheroines.
thank you for a great great story.....
