Pick up two best-selling audiobooks in one bundle.

Organic chemistry is a difficult subject. There are many topics that are overviewed in your textbook as if you are wading through mud. To help you understand the subject with ease, Organic Chemistry, a guide to help you ace and survive the course, is available.

This study aid will help you explore biochemistry in more straightforward terms to help you succeed in your course. You may not need every chapter in this audio textbook depending on when you pick it up. However, it is encouraged that you use it for a review as your final edges closer to help you re-examine concepts that may have been tough in the beginning weeks of class.

Each chapter will overview relevant terms, explain the concept in easy-to-understand words, and have questions for you to answer.

This book’s title is incorrect

The first half of the book is on Anatomy and Physiology, not biochem. The second part is OChem like the title says. Other than that, I haven’t finished it yet but seems pretty standard stuff so far.

A superb introduction to chemistry

This book offers a nice introduction to both inorganic and organic chemistry. This was the required text for my pre-nursing/pre respiratory care chemistry class. I would recommend it highly for anyone wanting a gentle yet comprehensive introduction to the basic chemistry.

Great book!

The book was as described! Great condition and at a great price. This book is THE best text for learning chemistry for nurses. It uses real case studies to help you learn and give you suggestions on how to handle patients with such and such disease. Great overview of general chem, intro biochem, and intro organic chem.

Good practice exercises

A fairly good book. The content is simple and easy to understand especially in the early chapters. I have no formal training in chemistry but I am enjoying the subject because of this book

Great book very helpful

this book is easy to follow for someone that has no prior chemistry in the past or is an advanced chemist who would like to recommend a good book to someone that is interested. During concepts, there are practice problems to practice so mastery of concepts can be obtained. It arrived new and undamaged.

so much info!

This book is like a TARDIS, tiny on the outside but so much information on the inside. The book covered a vast array of topics and managed to relate them to real world examples. I now regret not taking organic chemistry in college. This is among my favorite science Very Short Introductions.

Life changing!!!

Very helpful book. I have suffered on and off with mild to moderate depression and never have I understood how my diet/lifestyle choices could play a role in my suffering or in my cure. The resiliency example of the water jug was an eye-opening metaphor that left a lasting impression on me. Thank you for changing my life!

Good Information, A Bit Outdated

There is some good information in this book. Actually, much of the material is quite progressive for the time it was written. I will however say this. If you want to read this book, understand that it was written decades ago. As with many of these kinds of books from this particular time period, there are a lot of repetitive and drawn out examples that can get tiresome. At the time, these examples were being offered as proof that the claims that were being made were accurate.
