A Child Positive about becoming a DragonRider
This is a story about a young girl who's parents were both Dragon Riders killed in Battle. Who is dead set that her destiny is to become a Dragon Riders. Main character is bullheaded, determined, but thinks most thing through. She never bothered to develop friends because all of her energy and time was being spent on learning all she could to become the best.

The Underdogs Rise
I am in love with the Brindle Dragon series! Eicd is the daughter of dragon riders who know this is her destiny. She passes many trials and gains unlikely friends along the way. She bonds with a dragon that seems unlikely to attain full growth, yet possesses unique abilities. I've only listened to the first 3 books and can't wait to dive into the rest of the series. The narration is good. There seemed to be 1 or 2 inconsistencies in the story line but then again, I tend to anticipate. So I'll wait to see if these are explained. But so far - don't underestimate the newbies!

Captivating from start to finish.
Being an oddball myself, it is nice to find a story where you can sympathize with those that 'don't fit the bill'... Nevertheless, her being odd didn't stop her reaching her goal of becoming a dragon rider! The narrator kept the story captivating... and kinda reminds me of Jodie Foster narrating 'contact'

Great Story!
This is the tale of a young girl with a challenging life that firmly believes it is her destiny to be a great dragon rider and does everything in her power to make it happen. Great characters, action & adventure, and hints at much greater goings on. A great beginning!
Chosen: book 1 - Very Enjoyable! This is a cute & entertaining story about setting a goal and putting in the work to make it happen. It has interesting characters, humor, and DRAGONS! I am greatly looking forward to the next one!
Awakened: book 2 - Awesome! Eist finally gets to meet her dragon. And he is perfectly imperfect, just like her. Raising a dragon isn’t easy, but it is never boring! And don’t forget about school work, bullies, her grandfather, and inadvertently uncovering evil. No wonder she’s always tired. Bring on book 3!
Taken: book 3 - Interesting! The start of her second year is challenging for many reasons...and then things go really wrong! This is a great story with characters you really care about that is building itself up to something even bigger. Can’t wait to continue the story!

Kept me hooked and highly entertained.
Book 1 - Chosen
I like how she doesn’t let anything get to her, yes now and then she fires back with some great one-liners, but overall she just focuses on what she wants. To become a dragon rider or someone who helps dragons. She knows it in her bones. Her family history helps her, but she doesn’t abuse her parent’s passing to give her that extra edge. Which just shows who she is.
Kept me hooked and highly entertained.
Book 2 - Awakened
Love how the Author played Eist issues, it wasn’t the main focus. It was just something she had to learn to deal with. She didn’t make a big thing out of it. Also loved how the other characters just accepted that part about her and moved on. It wasn’t a big deal.
It great to see her develop more, see her becoming what she had always dreamed of becoming.
Book 3 - Taken
Loving Fior, Eist’s dragon. He a right little character. Don’t let that fool you, he can kick some serious ass even at his size. Loving all the dragons really, they are their own characters, have their own personality. Great to see Eist isn’t alone, she has friends to help her, to stick by her.
Loving where this series is heading.
