Publisher's Summary

The only thing former Coalition warriors Calder, Zed, and Axon have in common are long years spent battling the Hive and their eagerness to claim their personal reward - their own interstellar bride. When news arrives on Viken that each of the warriors has been matched, they gather at the transport station only to receive two unwelcome surprises.

First, they are all matched to the same woman, and not one of them is inclined to share. Second, their mate has refused them. She won’t leave Earth and transport to Viken. Won’t give any of them a chance to win her heart. But these warriors will not back down from a challenge.

When one states his intention to travel to Earth and retrieve his mate, the others will not allow him to make the journey alone. Their mate will be seduced. Claimed. One by one, they will tame her. Make her their own. May the best man win....

Enjoyed the story, one narrator was distracting

Once again, Grace Goodwin managed to find a way to shake up the formula a bit while still keeping us comfortably inside the Interstellar Brides' setting, and I appreciate that. (I love the more usual storyline format, but I also appreciate cleverness and creativity -- which demand that things get changed up sometimes.) To avoid any spoilers, I'll just say that because the characters met up in a somewhat different way than usual, the relationships developed in a way we haven't seen before in this series.

Performance rating: Really I wanted to give three 4-star ratings and one 2-star rating.
Unfortunately, the voice actor for Calder played the part waaaaay over the top, and it was completely inappropriate for the story. I really wish someone had given him some direction so he would have played it a bit more middle of the road. Very distracting. The other three narrators did a very good job, especially the role of Axon.

Good story, weird narrator

While the story was fun, I couldn’t get past the narration from Calder. I couldn’t stop picturing an old wizard like Dumbledore or some Shakespearean actor, not at all like the rough warrior he was portraying. He was OVERdramatic for this type of storyline.

The other two guys and the female were great. I was able to follow along and finish the whole thing, it just kept pulling me out of the magic of the storytelling every now and then.

Meh

Just couldn't get into the Sean Connery sound of the narrator for Calder. Liked the story though- for the most part... Disappointed that this was one that wasn't included in my membership and had to use a credit to get.

Boring

This storyline wasn’t that good to me; it took a lot to focus on this book. The sisters sounded whiny and there was minimal story and a lot of sex. Narrators were good but could help make the storyline better.

Terrible

I normally Iove Grace Goodwin books... but I couldn't get past the first couple chapters of this one. The male narrator is awful!

Twin Sisters!

Excellent story and Amazing Narration by four people. A Love story with a Difference. Three warriors been told they had a Human female arriving. Unfortunately they assumed three women were arriving. Only one was at the Earth station but once she heard where she was going she refused and returned to her apartment. She wanted to go where her Sister had gone. Luckily the three warriors decided to persue her on Earth.

Excellent

Violet Nichols is furious with her twin sister Mindy she had just up and left her behind having been matched through the Interstellar Brides program, so she went and got tested herself in order to follow. Only to find the biggest shock of all, she isn’t matched to the same planet. Even more furious now she just goes home. On Viken Calder, Zed and Axon get the shock of their lives when after having been called in because their mate has been matched to them they discover they are expected to share that mate. What follows is a sometimes hilarious but mostly introspective journey for them all to discover that they just might really need each other and sharing can be an extremely pleasant experience. Another great edition to the series and worth the time to follow the series along.
