Regardless of your parenting difficulties, this audiobook will help you guarantee that your children grow up healthily. This audiobook is really informative, especially the chapter on child safety. It was well-narrated and, in some ways, soothing.

Very Powerful!

Since I answered yes to all the questions in the author's publishing summary of the book I decided this was the book for me!

I have been struggling a lot with my ex and his treatment of our child and the lack of quality parenting done when my child is out of my care. I'm doing my best to understand and do what I can when I can. The book did give me insight as to why my ex why developed this personality trait. And how to recover and move on and not let his actions and life choices be a part of my present!

A resource for parent survivors

An easy read on the struggles of co-parenting with a narcissist. After reading this, you will understand that you are not alone and that what you're up against can actually be dealt with. Apart from the gender pronouns always identifying the narcissist as male, this was a good read.

I would have liked to see alternating gender pronouns and a more in-depth discussion about the practical tools for dealing with these kinds of toxic people as well as some specific places to find help, but it represents a good overall start.

Very Relatable

I love the depth of her stories. Breaking up with a Narcissistic lover is one thing, but to have kids with them? Not something you’d want to deal with for the rest of your life.I found a lot of helpful tips on keeping my children stable while somewhat having a boundary over my ex partner.

Brilliant!

This book is a real game-changer for all co-parents whether together, separated it’s divorced. It is a really good book that explains how to deal with narcissistic people especially whilst co-parenting. This book demonstrates very clearly how to identify a narcissistic personality and the author gives many tries and tested strategies and tips on how to overcome difficulties as a result. This book has helped me to be more observant of different personalities and that one can thrive and succeed in any relationship whilst co-parenting. Highly recommended.

Invaluable resource

This book has helped me understand what is happening in the life of a close family member. I recognise the attributes – the charm, the craving for attention, the lies. This has armed me with information and helped me to improve my relationship with my family member, now that I have an insight into the dynamics of co-parenting with a narcissist. Everyone who is in a difficult co-parenting situation will benefit from this book.

I like the technique of putting the bad feelings into a box and locking it away. This strategy is valid far beyond the narcissism world – very impacting indeed.

Narcissist defused

Narcissists are a nightmare to deal with even at an arms distance, let alone raising a kid with one! They will pull out all the stops to make your life a living hell, but ONLY if you let them. Before listening to this excellent title, I would get so wound up by my ex. Now I use the techniques inside this book and they work like magic. The trick is to starve off the narcissist's fuel by not giving them the rise they are looking for. Trust me, they will find it elsewhere and you and your little ones don’t have to suffer nearly as much. Loved this!

Thin

This was a quick read with a few good tips, but it did not go into enough depth about how to deal with them - hence my title - thin.

Helpful!

This was a great listen. Learning how to spot a narcissist is explained brilliantly in this book. The phrase gets thrown around a lot but knowing how to spot one is often not fully understood. Even better is learning how to deal with a narcissist, some great practical tips and tricks

Very helpful book

I got this book to share with my friend who is on a constant battle with her ex. The author pinpointed exactly what to look out for when looking at potential partners and especially how to deal with and oo-parent with a narsacist.

There are great tips from recognising the signs to getting out of the toxic relationship when you know the other person is not going to change and most importantly, not to feel guilty about it. it is better to be a single parent than to stay in a toxic relationship for the sake of the children.

Children are clever and resilient, they will understand and probably be grateful that you took them out of such a controlling environment.

Great book, would recommend to anyone going through this tough period in their relationship.

Great to find a way out

This audiobook is a super useful guide to dealing with a narcisstic co-parent. It starts with helping to understand what narcissism actually is and isn't, and describing most common challenges. Than it explains some super useful concepts and is full of tips of how to deal with various situations, protect the kids in the process from any toxicity, and my favorite bit, also making sure you take time out for you. Would 100% recommend!
