Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

“To invest in yourself is the best investment of all!”

Cognitive behavior therapy is taking the health field by storm. It is primarily focused on helping people deal with a specific problem. During the treatment, people learn how to find and change destructive behaviors that are blocking them from having a successful and fulfilling life.

There is a variety of health benefits that a person can receive by investing in this therapy.  It has been proven to help with eating disorders, improve mood, and used to treat substance abuse. In addition, it has been an effective treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for military patients.

In order to receive the greatest benefits of this treatment, it is critical that you invest the time to learn what's required to complete a therapy session. This audiobook provides a wealth of knowledge which is priceless to understanding what's involved in this therapy.

Take the time to invest in yourself and rid yourself of habits that you feel are out of your control.  In your hand is the power to change your life and see the world with a fresh set of eyes.

title should be "ALL ABOUT c. b. t"

No actual help in this book. It's like 18 chapters of defining what CBT is in different arenas.

No actual cognitive thinking steps. No actual therapy. If you came here looking for help with bad thinking or intrusive thoughts and what to do about them you're not going to find it.
I will definitely be refunding this book. it'll be the second book I have returned in about 8 years

Hard to get through

I have interest in this subject matter and am trying to get through it but I strongly dislike the narrator’s delivery. The tone and sing-songy pitch just runs everything together and it becomes an insufferable experience

very dissapointed

I was under the impression that this book would give me some tools or information using CBT to help with my issues that I have. This book primarily talks about what CBT is not so much how to apply it to any issues. By chapter 10 I had not received any new information or any type of strategies that I could use in situations such as stress, anxiety, or depression. It continually mentioned that this therapy could help with these issues, but never explained how.
