Very disappointed

I was excited about this book and was happy to see that it offered an Audible version. However, the content is quite superficial and circular. If you are looking for content that really helps you understand the value of cognitive behavioral therapy and how it is executed, I do suggest you keep looking. The narration is also pretty dull and the voice sounds more like a less engaging version of Siri than a voice talent.

Boring, Robotic and Repetitive

Constantly and endlessly repeats itself. The narrator is robotic in his delivery and is so boring that it’s almost impossible to concentrate on.

Academic not self help

In my opinion this audiobook is more for those who work in the field/s of psychotherapy be they academics or therapists. It’s brimming with citations of studies and guidelines on when and how CBT can be used. However, I found it lacking with regards to useful exercises that one can apply to one’s daily life to help manage anxiety.

Terrible, others must be fake reviews

This is not a real book. The reviews on here are fake.

It sounds like a computer generated voice reading a Wikipedia page on CBT.

There are no techniques in this book at all, it just tells you what is CBT is and what its good for, and just hovers around the subject.

I'm returning this immediately, and reporting it to Audible/Amazon
