I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I have been diagnosed as bipolar and I also have severe anxiety. I listen to this audiobook last night and have started trying to put the steps into action today. I appreciate that this audiobook is very simple to understand and not full of big words that do not need to be used to understand the struggles associated with mental illnesses and/or anxiety disorders.

I would recommend listening to the audiobook

This audiobook is short enough and straight forward, so I would recommend listening to the audiobook first and then re-listening it and practice the exercises that it describes. One exercise I tried was I attempted to challenge my own core beliefs. I have chronic pain and I have often asked myself why am I suffering from this pain, but I was too afraid to discover the answer.

Excellent and helpful audiobook

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a self-help manual about how to use CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to deal with anxiety, depression and some phobias. It’s often done with therapists but this audiobook provides a way to do it at home, for those more comfortable in that setting, as well as being a way to touch upon what you’ve already learned at therapy. The audiobook breaks down exactly what CBT is, how it works and gives the seven main steps needed to do the therapy.

This therapy approach and how it works.

The approach of cognitive behavioral therapy is very clearly explained in this audiobook and was perhaps one of the best and easiest to understand volumes I have to listen about this therapy approach and how it works.

I found this audiobook truly inspiring and helpful

I found this audiobook truly inspiring and helpful. The author speaking an easy to follow self-help guide to mastering the benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The idea behind CBT is that you can change your thoughts and therefore improve your reaction to emotions that you cannot change in situations, helping you with anxiety, stress, and depression to name a few.
