Absolutely phenomenal

The narrator was spot on and the story…I didn’t want it to end. The entire trilogy is worth listening to.

disappointing

not the usual good standard one would expect from a quality writer such as Lynda La Plante

Good plot but laughable narration

Gripping but dated tale(derogatory terms used for various people), but the narrator should never attempt more than one character’s voice, definitely avoid trying to do a male. This put me off the tale as it was cringeworthy.

Worst narration ever

Couldn’t listen past chapter 3. Cartoon-like narration. Kept expecting Bugs Bunny to pop out shouting “what’s up Doc?” Books should be read, not “performed”

Very very good

I thought this was an excellent way to finish the series.

The character of Lorraine Page was a difficult person to like, she had clearly got demons and had a lot of issues, but she also wasn't the nicest person in many ways, well I didnt think so anyway. I thought it was a good idea to keep this to just a trilogy, and the character was kept as quite realistic as regards her issues.

Typically I liked the dog the most.

Wow. What a twist

Although I enjoyed the first of the three, I disliked the narrator’s characterisation of Rooney and almost didn’t pursue the second. I’m glad I did as it definitely got better. This last one was excellent. The plot twisting and jumping around to keep you guessing right to the end
