Compelling Evidence

This book lives up to its title. The story line gave me the desire to listen over and over. I recommend this book to any legal mystery fan.

I Just Don't Care

It REALLY did not grab me. I like court room dramas, but this one fell flat. I didn’t care about any of the people, so by extension I didn’t care about the trial.

There was no suspense during the jury’s deliberation; I won’t tell you what their verdict was, but you can guess I didn’t care either way!

The recoding quality was particularly bad. It sounded like a cassette and you could actually hear the gears turning! Far far in the distance you could hear another voice speaking… or was it a distant echo of the narrator? I am really glad this was only 3 hours… I bought it on sale for under than 10$, but because I am overall unsatisfied I feel like I wasted my money.

Standard legal thriller

(As posted in GoodReads)
It may just be snobbiness, but I strongly preferred unedited books; I feel that, usually, the author includes what might otherwise be seen as extraneous information as part of the story, and as part of the overall creation… Nevermind.
This was a fairly standard legal mystery about which my only remaining question is, "what was left out in the abridgment?" Okay, maybe not "never mind"…

Really good story

I really enjoyed the story. Author kept my interest throughout. Nothing was dragged out. Very well told. And, the narrator was fantastic!
