What if Anna and Elsa never knew each other?

As the future queen of Arendelle, Princess Elsa leads a life full of expectations and responsibilities - not to mention questions. What type of ruler will she be? When will she have to pick a suitor? And why has she always harbored the feeling that some critical piece of her is missing?

Following the unexpected death of her parents, Elsa is forced to answer those questions sooner than she'd hoped, becoming the sole ruler of her kingdom and growing lonelier than ever. But when mysterious powers begin to reveal themselves, Elsa starts to remember fragments of her childhood that seem to have been erased - fragments that include a familiar-looking girl. Determined to fill the void she has always felt, Elsa must take a harrowing journey across her icy kingdom to undo a terrible curse - and find the missing princess of Arendelle.

Entertaining

I honestly love a good: separated then found later troupe. I am that weird being that still loves Feozen despite obvious flaws, so the moment I knew about this book, I nabbed it.
The writer did an excellent job keeping the soul of the story strong while changing everything up and bringing beloved song lyrics into everyday thoughts and descriptions.
Whenever descriptions of the world and people popped up bringing in characters and little scenes you know well, you can't help but grin and cheer inside.

I had a lot of fun reading this. It wasn't a critical read, just a pure fun one. Five stars for the pure entertainment alone.

Very similar to Original

This was very similar to the original story, with even many of the same lines and general storyline. There were song interesting twists but overall nothing like the other Twisted Tale stories.

worst twisted tales so far

might as well skip this one in the series The twist is that Anna and Elsa forget each other when they are kids due to a "curse" that night when Elsa struck Anna in the head, but the story pretty much unfolds exactly the same where Anna sacrifices herself in the end because of her love for her sister. you could literally see the entire plot unfold. there was no real twist to it. kind of disappointing because I really like the rest of the series.

Wow! What a wonderful twisted tale

I almost love this more than the original story. It’s incredibly detailed, and has excellent character development while also sticking closely to the original stories main plot. Love love loved! I plan to listen again.

Eh.

It was okay. Basically the same story just a few different aspects/view points. It’s nothing spectacular. The narrator was good just not a Stellar story.

A solid 4 stars!

I enjoy these Twisted Tales as a nice mindless listen for my commute, and this one wasn't bad at all. For the most part the characterization was pretty good and the pace was nice and brisk with no really slow or boring bits.

My main complaints are Olaf (he could have been funnier), the narrator (at times she was a bit fast) and the fact that despite the twist, the story wasn't THAT different from the film. Hard to mess with a classic I guess! Still, these were only minor flaws. Not bad!
