a great book but not what I thought

this is a excellent and insightful book and you can tell the author truly knows what he's talking about but 90% of the book is on setting up connections your team and the preliminary work of creating a network I truthfully expected a lot more in terms of actual urban survival techniques or advice

excellent fresh ideas for prepping

I very much enjoyed the entire book end to end…while it does contain the basic core of preparedness each “chapter” of prepping included several never heard morsels of wisdom…
absolutely recommend to seasoned preppers looking for new, lived insight into our small world of self-reliance

Solid information!

There's no fluff or filler, just factual information. Martin tells it like it is and does so without sparing your feelings. If you need a dose of reality and have a desire to survive what may be coming, read the book. Don't stop here, read Prarie Fire too.

As good as it gets!!!!

Patriots by James Westley Rawles is the only one close. Tons of practical advice. Lots of thought provoking thought whack you had never considered. Most of us just start buying supplies, which is not a bad thing, but he gives direction. And he confirms many of my fears about how it will come down.

It’s coming and fast. Society is holding together by a thread. This is a wake up book with solutions. Combined with his book Prarrie Fire you have your prepper manual.

I have listened to them all and this is at the top.

The reader/narrator is good. Loud, clear and not annoying. It’s fast passed. I liked his metaphors, slang and dry humor. It’s possible that a few might consider him arrogant, but I didn’t.

I really, really, really liked this book. But that’s just one listener’s opinion. I can’t guarantee that you will love it but if you don’t like this book you probably woun’t like anything on Audible.
