Story
Americans wage many of today’s fiercest policy debates and culture wars over constitutional meaning. It’s because constitutional law is so fundamental to our democracy that law schools across the country teach the subject. It's the area of law that determines what federal and state governments are permitted to do, and what rights you have as an individual citizen of the US. Here, you'll get the same accessible, well-rounded introduction to constitutional law as a typical law student - but with the added benefit of noted constitutional scholar Eric Berger's brilliant insights.

A Solid, Concise Outline.
This outline was generally pretty good. I found two errors, however. First, the outline states that gerrymandering itself is subject to strict scrutiny. This is only correct with respect to racial gerrymandering, at least as of April 2017. Second, the outline states that a school which allows a moment of silence before classes is violating the Establishment Clause outright. This is certainly true in cases where the purpose of the moment of silence is explicitly for prayer, but as a blanket statement, it is (most probably) not correct. At the very least, the law is ambiguous here. Those two minor errors of nuance aside, this was a great outline and I am very happy that I found it.

Go Ahead; Learn A Little About Your Constitution
Constitutional Law. A good outline on the subject of constitutional law, nothing less, but not much more. I do not think this would be a good work to learn the subject. This book is better considered as a source for refreshing past leaned subjects. I am an attorney and find its contents structurally sound. Its broad conceptualizations are nicely presented. A reading of it, for the layman or for an experienced attorney, will teach little. Yet it is recommended for attorneys if you have an interest refreshing your structural references to past constitutional learnings. Laymen may get little understanding of what is the essential gift of our American constitution, but it will, I suspect, provide certain jewels of learning without providing true understanding. For example, what is federalism?
A recommended read but a ‘caveat,” its reading is lifeless. A bore. Saved only by the subject matter being outlined.

Con law review
This is a relatively concise review of American federal constitutional law. It hits all the major concepts, most of the important fact patterns, and some of the major cases, though it does not present an historical review. It is for law school and bar review but can be used for CLE (continuing legal ed). If you took The Teaching Company (The Great Courses) course on the history of the Supreme Court and enjoyed it, you might enjoy this. If you took Law School for Everyone, this is a good supplement to that too. I recommend this course to any citizen or person who wishes to learn the principal concepts of American con law.
