Publisher's Summary

A journey that was a lifetime in the making....

Milton Frederick never had the chance to live out his life as a professional gamer on Earth, mainly because he was abducted by aliens. Unfortunately, he wasn’t returned home after the typical probing associated with such things to tell an unbelievable story to his friends. Instead, he was summarily killed and his consciousness was inserted into a Station Core, a giant, metal, egg-shaped object that could use technology to create traps, Combat Units, and other defenses to protect not just himself, but those he cared about.

Despite killing him and sticking his mind in what was essentially a giant computer, the aliens that went by the name “The Collective” weren’t actually a bad group of people. Ultimately, what they had done to Milton had been to save themselves from the incessant attacks of a different group of aliens called Heliothropes. Sadly, he never made it to where he was supposed to end up. Rather, his Station Core ended up crash-landing on a foreign planet named Proctus, as far from The Collective as it was possible to get.

However, through many difficult scenarios and by adapting to his new form, Milton was eventually able to leave Proctus with some new friends and new ships he had built with the help of his versatile drones. Now bound for Collective space to fulfill a promise to his personal AI guide, ALANNA, Milton and his crew use their trans-dimensional drive to journey there through a strange dimension that cuts down on their travel time.

What they find waiting for them when they emerge is not what any of them were expecting.

Dimensional Dungeon Cores is a continuation of the Station Cores series, though it can be enjoyed without having listened to the previous books. This story contains LitRPG and GameLit mechanics, Dungeon Core elements (including dungeon construction and defense), and optional stat tables in the form of footnotes. Contains no foul language and no harems or sexual content.

Dungeon Core At Its BEST

Amazingly written and wonderfully narrated Jonathan makes moves in this installment that has the possibility to bring everything he has done together! I love the pacing and flow. The character development is engaging, and I found myself riveted. I also like the optional stats! Simple skip. TY for the organization, so I can have the stats when i want and skip when I do not.

The nicest author

Love the crossover stories, and the title of this refers to my emailing him directly to ask for advice on what order to enjoy each series in. Was very quick to respond and answered my question perfectly. Also I notice you didn't spoil the author's notes at the end of this book for me either. I got a good chuckle from the irony. Thanks again!

Great Dungeon Fantasy

I really enjoyed the continuation of the station core series with the crossover from another of Jonathan Brooke's series. I'm going to go through his Dungeon World series as soon as I can. Great book and look forward to the next one.

Cameos are to small.

I love finding this type of series when all these fun and awesome characters come together for a journey more then some cameo. I just wish I knew which other series might be related so I can read them all first.

Now I understand

I was one of the Beta readers for book two. Now I wish I had finished this book first. I really enjoyed it. The bring of Crafter’s and Station Core together. Now I have to listen/read to all those books, I have them, but just have not gotten to them yet.

Worthy continuation from the Station Core series

Nice story progression following on from the end of the Station Core series, with a clever and interesting way of introducing a crossover to another series (no spoilers here).

I'd definitely recommend that you read through the Station Core series first, but that's no hardship either :)

More Core Goodness

If you've listened to (or read) any of Jonathan Brooks' other books and chances you have if you're reading this one, you'll know what to expect. The man is a master at the dungeon and station core genre and its clear to see from this book. While you don't have to have read the first series connected to this book (Station Core) it certainly helps but either way its a great read and is another standout performance from Miles Meili. Roll on book 2
