Publisher's Summary

Simon is the best delivery boy that Mr Edwards’s restaurant has ever had. He’s on time every time, and he’s gotten nothing but good reviews. But he needs more money.

His mother’s medical treatment won’t pay for itself, and his father is already working three jobs to try to make ends meet. But it might just be his lucky day: Mr. Edwards has another job for him.

It’s more delivery work, but not the usual kind. You might even say that it’s out of this world. Oh well. Beggars can’t be choosers, and the pay is fantastic.

Of course, it’s not going to be easy, and he does have to keep the whole thing secret. But come hell or high water, Simon is going to get the job done. It doesn’t matter if it’s warring demons, angry tree-folk, or ornery artificial intelligence, nothing is going to stop him from making his deliveries.

He’s not a normal delivery boy anymore—he’s a cosmic delivery boy.

L.G. Estrella did it again

I really enjoyed the Unconventional Hero series and this seems to be shaping up to be another great series. It is a little less humorous than the Unconventional Hero series but you do get attached to the characters very quickly. The narrator did a great job. I am looking forward to more. Thank you to everyone involved in making this audiobook.

Delightful and Entertaining

At first, I was disappointed to find that the new L.G. Estrella book Audible notified me of wasn't in the 'Unconventional Heroes' series, but, after listening to it, i'm hooked. Honestly, this may eclipse the aforementioned other series from this author.

If you haven't read any of their work, it tends to be light-hearted and entertaining, with eminently likable characters. I honestly can't think of an author who's more capable of creating characters you almost immediately love.

Good Story.

It's fun and cute though not as laugh out loud funny as The Unconventional Heroes series but still worth the credit.

L.G.Estrella never fails to entertain.

I have yet to find one of thier books that I haven't loved and Cosmic Delivery Boy has been no exception to this fact. Truly written by an amazing and gifted story teller. The narrator also deserves applause as thier narrative is flawless and enthralling.

an unusual story

I struggled with this story by LG Estrella. I loved the first series I listened to by him. I laughed so much but this one wasn't near what I had expected. the story was ok. the narrator not so much. I just didn't get into it like I did with his necromancer series. it was a quite different of a story and I liked that and I still will be watching out for more of his literature but this one just didn't do it for me.

Cosmic Delivery Boy Delivers!

This is the second series created by LG Estrella I’ve listened to. Funny, love the character development, and the stories are visually stunning. Can’t wait for more.

A Protagonist to Root For

I love it when the protagonist is someone that you can really like. This is the case with Simon in Estrella's Cosmic Delivery Boy. Entertaining and quirky and exciting, with a good overall pace.

It was a a good story.

It has a little bit of everything, friendship and family. The three things you need in life, narration was good. Can't wait for the next one.

It ain't Timmy, but it ain't bad either

A deliberate pizza boy power fantasy this is easily the most intentionally pure comedy work from Estrella so far. The Australian-ness of it seems slightly undercut by the lack of the prodigious swearing I associate with the natives of that country, but I suppose it does make it more accessible to an international audience.

A great experience

I was not sure what to expect with this but it was most enjoyable. Likeable characters, funny and some great world building I liked the greater insight into the demons.

The second delivery is not as good but I am so glad I listened to this.

The narrator did an excellent job and the author is very good. I hope there will be another book and more deliveries.

Another awesome L.G. Estrella book

I found this book to be really engaging and I love the “world” building. I think this has the potential to be another great series. Thoroughly recommend.

disappointing

I don't know where this story was going. For some reason I thought of He Who Fights Monsters, though that may have been due to Australian accent.
However as entertainment it was decent. very much in the authors style. just disappointing considering previous works.
the narration though saved it in the end.
