Publisher's Summary

A normal, if not rebellious, human, Cameron Dupree has spent the last three years finding his way through a school of the rich and powerful...literally.

He's surrounded by the supernatural cream of the crop: children of alpha werewolves, banshees with ties to the United Nations, a faerie princess from another realm of reality, and a teenage succubus who might be the scariest, and sexiest, of them all. Everything is going as great as can be for a vanilla human...until one misstep lands him in trouble with a noble of the Unseelie Fae. Caught between the wrath of a Fae Court and the desire of a Succubus Cabal, Cam must fight to survive, and figure out he might not be that normal after all.

Courts and Cabals contains adult situations and supernatural creatures that generally treat humans like s#!t. It's intended for a mature audience.

reverse harem

I read some spoilers and unless the author is doing it for drama and the issue will be solved later, main character is going to be forced to have do deal with other men banging Lilith. This entire story seems like its actually a harem, but isn't apparently. Main character is going to get cucked. Refunding my credit for now since I find this all extremely misleading since it clearly is building up to the mc potent enough for feed her on his own and mysteriously can't. Which sounds like the author inserting his sharing fetish. If I'm wrong and the third book doesn't go the cuckold main character route it currently looks to be on. I'll happily come back to the series.

Good one

I admit that i almost dropped it because it was looking like it was a reverse harem and by the end it still isn't clear if it is or not but the story is entertaining and engaging the characters are good too well except for the "friends" that pretty much disappear around the middle of the story. One thing i didn't like was the werewolf had so many POV chapters that it feels like the story has 2 MCs and damn those "good guys" sure are trigger happy

A very interesting story

Most interesting. Most interesting indeed. I had hoped this would be coming to Audible, and I am glad the Narrator did such a wonderful job.

can't wait for the next one

I'm looking forward to the next book. I do hope that it doesn't take long for the next book to be released out on audible books. the first book was so good that I couldn't stop listening to it, listening to this book all in one day.

A Really Great Start!

A really great start to an interesting story. The characters are interesting especially after they became less annoyingly juvenile. Now I’m really interested in where the story goes from here! The narration was excellent and kept me into the book enough for it to really grab me! I need the next audiobook!

incredible plot&execution 9.5/10 (read below)

THIS IS WORTH THE CHANCE WOTH YOUR CREDIT... (not finished even!)
I am 2 hours 10 minutes in, this can be an incredible new series I love and has me captivated with the story (even without the details I explain further on in the review) and will be finished by this time tomorrow, that's saying alot, I will read average good books hour by hour for months, this one is really fun (so far), backstory is written into the ongoing story SEAMLESSLY and in a new way than what I have come to expect in the genre (so far) I believe it pokes fun at PC culture these days without actually just calling it and those who subscribe to it dumb makes good points about some simple things in culture without actually trying. Only issue so far is descriptions of people, I.E. a linchpin female side characters was described, give or take, word for word as 'Victoria's secret super model, pornhub pornstar or the century, sports illustrated cover model hot (or beautiful I said give or take lol)' that is comparative not descriptive, not telling me what the person looks like just that society would say she is above average. It pissed/pisses me off with a book so well written otherwise, with this much potential that I truly hope it doesnt continue although that is the only issue so far it is not tiny and happened exclusively so far except one other main female was described kind of, the best friend female was literally described as a vampire (explained what vampires are in this series) and she is an SJW I know more about the MC's penis than his basic description... other than his height. some hair colors, but not much in the way of describing people. To be fair everything else is described well and executed perfectly (so far ;D)... Brandon Utah my friend, you are doing an incredible job here, just bravo to you 100/100 you get the max available applause and I have heard other books from you that weren't great, were never bad albeit, but wow this one is out of the park, encore!!! (will update with final full review. Just wanted to let people who are on the fence or not giving chances to newer authors/series anymore because audibles great listen lies can stop you from returning books you hate if you try a certain amount too many all of a sudden. but this book even just over 2 hours in was worth the credit and deserves reviews/views/#eyeson) 9.5/10 so far...

Returning

Book 1 seemed like a good start and Brandon Utah is really good. Not many narrators can pull off being the guy and girl in a book. He does a very good job of it.
The 2nd book sucked bad. This MC has no redeeming qualities at all. He is just a total tool. Throw on top of it another narrator did the 2nd book and you have a total failure for book 2. I'm not returning both books yet. I may finish the 2nd book one day but I kind of doubt it. It is just that bad.

A few issues from the settle and set up but Solid

First off warning, because its one reader and his normal voice is the same as the main character it becomes unclear when he is swapping from first to third person for a good amount of the transitions in this book. otherwise it is a solid work on that end.

I will say this is an engaging read and unlike other books i read recently i did feel like finishing what I started with it. It is however a book that doesn't have an actual ending, meaning i would suggest waiting till the entire series is done to an extent if you like a complete tale.

this series also has way too many sex scenes that are just there because action has not happened in some time. the ones the main character is involved with do inform the women in the story but the others when that isn't the case just seem like filler so it isn't boring explanations for too long.

this book also does a lot of telling and no showing about the characters so you will for example know things unneeded about a minor character just cause the main character wants to make sure you know why he isn't dating that girl instead.

last complaint is the main villain plot doesn't seem to set up shit and if it is what i think it is gonna be the twist later it would have worked better to just have it out there, and if it isn't what i think then the villain is one of the worst ive seen in the entirety of reading.

but it still is an engaging read even if I question why this is a high school and not college especially when everyone has to be over 18 for the sex scenes. so it does barely get a recommended for me if only cause while i have ditched out on other books halfway in this one was able to pace itself so well i wanted it to keep going which made the lack of a real ending so maddening that i could not just continue straight away. for that the writer has my Kudos

A different take on harem

The MC isn't OP, at least not in the beginning but he's fun to watch as he tries to squirm out of the trouble he gets into.
