learn more about critical thinking

I bought this audible because I wanted to learn more about critical thinking and didn't want to be intimidated. The author makes a valiant attempt to keep the work light and breezy, and he works. The problem I have with the audible is that it takes him a long time to get to the point...

Uncritical Thinking by author

Look, we all have our biases but I'd expect to work on Critical Thinking to at least somewhat and Naturally present the various sides of an argument. One critic said he wanted to dig out his eyes after a few chapters, on the other hand barely made it through the first page I knew! And this guy,

Critical Thinking Skills For Dummies

Critical Thinking Skills For Dummies is okay for the most part. But, I wonder precisely how much of an expert the author is in this area because the work has great common mistakes in grammar, punctuation, and a few other things. Having said that, however, I don't know if it is due to any shortcomings on the author's

Lots of theory, little on skill and techniques

Lots of theory and stories. If you like that then this is audible, but I was anticipating more practical tips and ways to improve my critical thinking skills.

understand practical tips for critical thinking.

I wanted to get practical tips for critical thinking. The work does some of that. However, the author feels the need to convince others that there is no God. He kinda dampens it throughout the audible.

Critical Thinking

I view the audible as having sound information but not that helpful to someone whose main purpose is to improve their reasoning manner. The work has a decided educational flavor to it. author spends a lot of time discussing the place of critical thinking in the school curriculum. While I am certain this would be of benefit and helpful to educators, it was not to me.

poor

started well, however very tired woke examples used to illustrate biases. could easily have been two hours shorter.
